I LOVE those! They are great. We are doing the boarding passes but ours aren't nearly as great as yours! We are using red/aqua as our colors so I say go for both.

Aw...thanks! The boat pic was just one of the options they had to choose from - anyone can use it! We are so sunburnt in that pic. We figured that is how we will be in Mexico so we should just get people prepared. I forgot to mention before that I stole the language from Kash's website. I must give credit to her for that one.

We've been together a little over 10 years- it will be 11 by the wedding. We met the first weekend of college. I was 17, he was 19. There have been breaks in there but I guess that's what happens when you grow up together.

Seriously...Brett keeps going "Is there anything I can do to help research?" and I keep telling him that there is nothing he can do - just leave me alone with my forum.

My question is along the same lines as Kristi... Do you just glue the vellum to the bag or do you cut out part of the bag and glue the vellum over the hole? They all look great! Good job ladies!

The group coming to this wedding can/do get rather rowdy and loud. That's part of what I love about them...but realize that others might not find this quite so endearing. Has anyone had problems/heard about problems arising in certain resorts from loud receptions or afterparties? With this group there is always the potential for a drunken America's Next Top Model walkoff contest happening down the hotel hallway at who knows what time. These people are professional by day and bizzaro by night. I'd love not to get kicked out or yelled at because we are too loud.

Ok...I'm putting Sheraton back on my list until I hear more. I really loved staying there. It's such an amazing property. Do you guys know if they only have 1 wedding per day there?

I have been to a reception where there was no dancing. The wedding was at 11 am so the reception was a lunch reception. I have to say that without the dancing, it didn't seem like as much of a party. We all just ate and left. It was a bigger wedding and we didn't know that many people so there wasn't much incentive to stick around. If you choose not to do dancing, it'll probably be better bc there are only 30 people and you can just sit around and talk. I'd go with dancing though. At least have the option there so those that want to can.

Do you mind if I ask how what the rate was for those 6 hours? I am thinking about booking him this week and he gave me some rates. I just want to make sure the rates wouldn't be lower if booked through a wedding coordinator. Thanks!

Thanks a heap. That's such a good rate!! That's what we pay when we have to stay at hotels for Ohio weddings (where we are from) - and trust me, that's no Cabo type vacation!

I remember reading on here a while ago that they don't have a wedding coordiantor (just a group coordinator) and one of the Hilton brides said she didn't get the warm-fuzzy feeling when she went there for her visit. If you hear/find out differently let me know bc we LOVED staying there. It was so relaxing, beautiful rooms, fab property. Plus, the room rates are good for our guests.

Thanks for talking me down off the ledge. I know we have a ton of time to plan this thing. It was just a momentary freak out when my original time was cut in half. But really, I'd probably go crazy if I had to wait 2 years so this is definitely a good decision. After talking with Tammy we are leaning toward the PB resorts. We really want a low room rate for our guests - it's our #1 priority. A lot of our friends are teachers/non-profit workers or just had their own wedding so we don't want to demand too much of them. We want a beach wedding, are inviting a little over 100 peeps, and really want good food. We aren't picky about AI or not - we'd do it if the costs made sense for our guests. We've stayed at the Sheraton before and love it, but based on the non-responsivenes other girls have gotten regarding weddings we are thinking "no" to them. We like the corridor but aren't opposed to being in Cabo. We wouldn't want to be much further from Cabo than Sheraton/Dreams. to all for calming my freakout.

Ok - so all along we've been talking about a December 2008 Cabo wedding. We just decided to up it to Dec 2007. What's a year, right? Oh, BTW, I'm freaking out about this. I've started emailing the photog we want and various wedding planners. The big thing is that we need to pic the venue. I really have no questions in this post - just needed to verbalize (typalize) all the things we need to do asap so I feel a bit more in control. Whew.
