Dreams food question... FI's bro and his gf are vegan. Has anyone had to try to find vegan food in Mexico? Specifically, do you think it will be super hard to get Dreams to make them some vegan food for the reception? I'm thinking a pasta cooked in olive oil with veggies.

Well, your hair looked fab. Perfectly relaxed and bridal. I actually emailed Meagan's lady yesterday. People must think I'm crazy trying to reserve them to do hair a year in advance. I can't help it though! I get cranky when I don't get what I want.

Thanks for all the help girls!! I finally decided on DJ Ricardo. I am booking him for 4 hours - maybe add an hour once we get closer to the wedding date and figure out the schedule more. Thanks again for all your help!

(again) I have a Dreams question about visitor passes. If we have a welcome dinner, wedding, and farewell brunch on 3 separate days do we have to pay $85 per visitor per day? Has anyone had success getting Dreams to allow the $85 pass to cover all 3 events?

You guys must be able to tell from my posts that I have no sisters who have gotten married...because I have NO IDEA what I'm doing most of the time. I need help regarding when/how to start looking for wedding dresses. The wedding is 1 year from today. Too early to start? I think I want to go to a salon and try on all different styles so at least I will know what looks good/bad on me. I'm just scared if I get a dress to early I will be bored with it in a year. How long does it usually take to order/get a dress from a shop? TIA

How many hours did you hire your DJ for? If we have a 4 pm wedding, cocktail hour from 4:30 - 5:30 - how long would you hire the DJ for? I'm thinking 5 hours.

This is what I'm doing. I have two attendants. On redenvelope.com they have these ID bracelets with leather straps for $30. I got one in blue and one in red (my colors) and got the girls' names put on them. I'm going to put the bracelets on cardstock with a note asking them to be in the wedding. Both live out of state so I have to send them.

I like 2 and 3. 2 is more weddingish. 3 looks like the bouquet for a super casual wedding.

One more thing to think about! I assumed the packages were only useful if your guest count fell wi those ranges. I'm just going to pretend like they don't exist so I don't have to decide if I want to use them. -

Kash - I think you ML vibes are paying off...I just got the Knot notice that a boutique by me is having a ML trunk show in 2 weeks. Way earlier than I wanted to start looking for a dress, but it can't hurt. Anyway - this is a sign you will have a great experience at the sale - and if not go for the knockoff. It looks beautiful!

Kash - What about a mound of oranges with 3 - 5 hot pink daises stuck in between them? As for the coral - they also have red coral placemats. I'm totally going to be stealing Janet's idea using the placemat, a piece of faux coral,and a few flowers. I love cheapness!

I'm thinking about having in converted into a different dress. Like chopping off the bottom, dye it a color, etc. This all depends on the dress I end up getting of course.

You are a stronger woman than I am. I think you do need to have that sit down - all 3 of you. I think if you explain to her that it is not 2 against 1 here it might help. Maybe she's feeling ganged up on. And I think she's freakin' about losing Cain. You know what else helps? Drinks.

Welcome! You are never too early to start planning. I was a "lurker" on this site for a while before we set a date. Once the time came to set one I had the whole thing planned! The FI loved it!
