  1. Does this place require a membership like Costco does?

I find the information on here a great help and cannot wait to start narrowing down my search for a perfect location. I don't even know yet where - I guess I'll wait until he finally pops the question before discussing it with him. By then I should have the whole wedding planned! Thanks for all your advice and input in advance!!!! Welcome!! I had the whole thing planned before we got engaged too. FI called it Code Blue - like I'd make one call once he popped the question, say Code Blue, and it'd all be set.
  3. Congrats on the house Jules! We want pics. As for exercise, I just left the gym. Did arms and got my meal plan from my trainer.

    Newbie -

Congrats!!! I was on this site planning months before we got engaged. Stuff books up so fast you have to! And don't worry - we were together 10 years before we got engaged. I totally thought there would be no surprise when the ring came because I was so prepared for it but he still found a way to surprise me. Your BF will do the same thing - even if you can't be whisked away.

  6. Just think of it as "This many more people love me enough to fly to MX to see me get married." You can always cram people into spots.

    hello

Welcome to the den of wedding planning!
  10. I have a Spanx skirt I wear all the time. If the booty/thigh shaper is anything like the skirt you will look amazing. It sucks everything in but is super comfortable and easy to move in.

  12. Here they are ladies!! I used alyee's template from the knot. The red is the outer envelope. Our logo is on the back of the card. Our stamps also have our logo on them. I'm super excited they are done.

  15. For real...My friends are totally normal on a daily basis and I'm sure that girl is too. If they just lost their s%&t like that I would crack up.
  16. I'm doing red roses too. I love the look of a tightly packed, red rose bouquet. I say if you like them USE THEM!!!
  17. I must be straight evil because if one of my friends did that I would totally laugh. Granted, it would be nervous, what the F, please don't stab me laughing - but it would be laughing.
  18. Gotta post so we don't forget about this fab thread! Went to the gym - 20 min on a higher level on stairmaster and lifted using legs. Feels good!
  19. This thread is cracking me up for some reason. Can you imagine having your dress stolen then seeing someone in the lobby wearing it? Saying things like "No, this is mine. I brought it from home. I like to wear it to lay out." I'm obviously exhausted from the week.

(Nothing wrong with being spoiled or rich btw, I just hate when people are bratty about it). One of my friends was mad she wasn't asked to be a BM so she wore a poofy white dress to sabotage the bride!! I mean it is just dispicable here. I'm glad I found a group of nice girls who are just as happy to share their happy day with other brides. -Glenda If I were the bride I would have thrown red wine on her. Is that wrong?
  21. There is NO way I could plan this wedding without this site. I swear I heard angels sing when I found it (the old one).

  23. Welcome! I'm another bride using Tammy (we sould like a cult!!!) She's amazing - so helpful and so quick to answer questions.
  24. If you get a bag I like the bright color idea. I'm wearing red shoes w my dress - after all, it's a PARTY!
  25. I feel your pain Glenda- suit all day, no breaks, etc. The only bonus I have over you is a set end time to work. I'm at the gym at 5:30 pm. Maybe these tips will help: - work out both weekend days. Even if it's just walking a lot, bundle up and head outside. - try getting up 30 min earlier. It's not a drastic change for you sleepwise. You can do some squats, crunches, lunges - all quiet activities. - I second that walking more during daily activities. Get off one subway stop early and walk the rest. - Get a step counter and set goals for steps per day. You'd be amazed how many steps you can cram in.
