I still wear shoes she had when she was in college bc they are so perfectly classic. That's what I'm thinking about these shoes - fun yet classic. I'd love it if my daughter could wear them someday!!!!

  3. Sarah - Thanks so much for the great info!!! I'm so glad you are going to Mi Casa for the welcome dinner. I think you are the only other person I know having it there. I want all the details after the big day!!!!!
  4. I agree with the other girls - LOVE the fans, shirt, everything!!! You won't be able to decide on the whole package until you try it on. Bring it all with you and decide day of. BTW - Where did you get the jackets?
  5. Welcome!!! I want more details!!
  6. We picked 12/8 because it worked with the vendors and the location. It just so happens that it is exactly 13 months to the day from when we got engaged. That's the closest to "meaningful" I could come up with.
  7. Welcome! I love love love that you are her MOH - so sweet.
  8. Electrolosis is more permanent. Laser is "hair reduction" not removal. With laser you do appointments every 6ish weeks - it takes 15 minutes for full bikini. It works best if you have light skin and dark hair. I had my first appt in Jan but have been so busy since then I haven't been able to make it. I think my next appt is the end of March.

  12. Here they are...I just ordered them. I am going to be barefoot for the ceremony but these will be for the reception. Even the soles are red!!!!
  13. I'm in the process of getting it done right now. After one session I've noticed some difference - just a little. I have 4 more sessions to go though and I'll keep you posted. Btw - I'm basically a hairy sasquatch woman so any decrease in hair was worth it to me.
  14. Those are fantastic! I even did boarding pass std's and I love yours way more than mine. I really need to find more artsy friends! Your guests will be so excited to get those.
  15. I love they whole letter thing - I've been thinking about what I will write for years; long before we were ever engaged. As for the watch, I've secretly reserved some of the wedding budget for that. I'm still paying for it - it was just always in my budget. I feel like I have been so spoiled with this whole wedding - the rings, the dress, the hair/makeup, etc. He's kinda getting the short end bc he would be happy at city hall and he's doing a lot of this to make me happy. I know gifts don't matter, but I feel like he's given so much and I want him to have a gift in return.
  16. Thanks ladies! Glad to know I'm not alone on this one. I have been bookmarking like crazy. Hopefully when the time comes I'll be ready with the lowest price. Glenda - I'm like you in terms of decisiveness. My dress took 2 days to pick, the site took a week to figure out - I don't spend a lot of time pondering. The lady at one dress shop said it was the fastest she'd ever had someone try on dresses. That's probably why it's so hard for me to wait.
  17. I haven't been able to post here for a while bc I've been LAZY! I'm getting back on track though. Mon night I ran 3 miles and did arms and last night I did 30 min on a higher level of the step machine. Also, I made another trainer appt so he can yell at me.
  18. My site visit is August 3 - 5. I have 4 months after that to get everything in place. I just need to take some deep breaths and relax. I don't have to get it all done right now.
  19. How cheap? I found some silver charms for $2.50 each. If you only have a few invites I guess that's cheap.
  20. My wedding isn't until 12/07 and I have all the big stuff done - location, photog, DJ, dress, etc. Sounds great, right? Well, now I am DYING to start buying all the other small stuff and iron out the details. I want to buy a rehersal dinner dress and other wedding clothes - but lord knows what will be in fashion in December. I want to start buying OOT bag stuff - but I have NO idea how many people are coming. I want to start making DIY stuff for the reception and ceremony - but I haven't done my site visit so I don't know where I will have the events. My head might explode soon by the time I am in a place to start ironing out all these details. Anyone else having these issues?
  21. A Tag must be the standard gift bc that's what I'm getting FI too!!! I got him a Tiffany watch about 5 years ago that he wears on dressy occassions. A Tag will be good for everyday wear.
  22. Welcome!!! I love having vendors on the site.
