  1. I picked 3. My E ring had the option of the the 3 sided diamonds like #1 and I heard things about them rubbing against the wedding ring so I steered away from that. Love them all though.
  2. I know this is late but I just read something about Aveda Air Control. It's supposed to help!
  3. Here is a list of bridal emergency items from InStyle: 1) Diaper pins - in case you have bustle issues. 2) Sandpaper - for soles of new shoes so you don't eat it on a slick dancefloor. 3) First aid tape - for loose hems. 4) White Chalk - covers stains on wedding dress 5) Animal crackers - sweet snack to keep blood sugar up and small so no crumbs 6) Crochet hook - for buttoning those tiny ass buttons that there can be a million of. 7) Apple - fixes bad breath (WHO KNEW!!)

  5. I'm just jealous you have 6.5 size feet!! I have big ass clodhoppers.
  6. I keep Luna bars in my desk for my chocolate cravings. Only 3 WW points and you get chocolate and they keep you full!
  7. The fireworks make it look like those ladies' asses just exploded.
  8. Most days it's plain tea - but on "treat" days it's a non-fat chai.
  9. I did 40 min on the stepper and 20 of weights. This was the first time I'd used the heart rate monitor and boy was I working too hard!!! Really ladies - get one. I have been working out 2x harder than I should be.
  10. We actually have people come to our house and stay overnight. They walk them 3 times a day and stay here from 7 pm - 7 am. We used to take them to this ranch/kennel but they would always come back pretty skinny (from running around ALL day) and usually had cuts (our babies have really short hair and thin skin). There might be something like this in your area.
  11. I've been a big fat cow. I totally stopped at Coldstone today...before going to the gym!!!! Who does that?!?!?!?! I think I have a tapeworm. Last week I hossed on everything in sight. Tomorrow I'm going out for burgers at lunch. Someone stop me!!!
  12. Creepy! If she comes in with her hair cut like yours tomorrow I wouldn't be surprised. She's probably gonna pull a Single White Female.
  13. We had this issue too. FI has a huge fam and mine is tiny. We just invited my parents and bro (all gp's are gone) and his "first tier" fam. That means only his parents, bro, gma and gpa, and aunts/uncles first cousins. Sounds like a ton but it's better than inviting all 400 of his family members. We did the "who would I have coffee or a beer with alone" rule. Would either FI or I sit and chat with X if we weren't being forced together by a family event.
  14. I think it would be hard - but if someone knows a way I'll do it!!!!!!

    Almost engaged

Welcome!!! Quote: Originally Posted by BayBug I like how you know when you are getting engaged. I wish I knew. I would have worn cuter clothes. CONGRATS TO YOU! Word to that one!
  16. We hired BVP for our wedding. FI doesn't care one way or the other and at first neither did I. I started reading reviews and read that a lot of people wished they did it - but I never read one where someone got one and regretted it. I figured better safe than sorry!!!!
  17. I remember when I did the first one my legs were a little sore the next day. But I had not been working out AT ALL so I doubt they would be sore now. And no real sweating. I'll let you know more at the end of the week!
  18. I have them but I've only done the first dvd. I'm really bad about doing tapes. I like the gym better because there aren't two dogs in my face everytime I lie on the floor to exercise or stretch. The first one was fun. Not a super tough workout at all - but a fun way to get up and moving. How about this...I'll try to do them all this week and give you a review?
  19. That's awesome Melissa!!! The water must help. FI isn't doing it with me - he just makes the recipes I put in front of him. He's actually trying to gain weight. He's one of THOSE people - I'd kill for that problem!

    Hola!

Welcome!!! Stop worrying. DW's are not "normal" weddings so people will be happy with whatever you plan.
  21. My guests are going to Mexico, but this stuff applies to both. (To prepare all the older family members who get cranky about slow service.) 1) Relax. Everything takes a little longer to get done here. Meals can take hours. Remember, you are on vacation - relax and enjoy the view! (So people don't get stuff stolen) 2) Do not bring valuable with you. Even room safes aren't always safe. 3) Don't go places alone, esp not at night. This includes walks along the beach at night.
