Welcome! This is totally my favorite thread on the forum. It's such a great motivator. I have the same kinda job situation as you and I used to not be a morning person. I have to suck it up and work out in the morning. I'm at the gym at 5 am about 4 days a week. It sucks at first but after about 2 weeks it is fine. Lus, it's so nice coming home after work work and not having to go to the gym I did 45 minutes on the stair master this morning.
  2. Mine live in different cities than I do. I got them leather ID bracelets w their name engraved on them. One was red and one was turquoise (my wedding colors). I sent them w a card saying how much they mean to me and asking them to be in the wedding. When they got them they called me and accepted.
  3. Her website is www.papermoxie.com. HEr name is Sheryl and I totally heart her. She is awesome. I just told her how many I needed and what I wanted to spend and she came up w options within those parameters. Since it is cutom she will include what you want for that price. I am only having people rsvp on line so I didn't need a lot of enclosures. I just had 1 that said where the welcome dinner and brunch will be. If you talk to her tell her I recommended you. She just finished mine on labor day so she'll remember me. Quote: Originally Posted by JenandBrendan Oh Kate, I was hoping you would respond too. I LOVE your invites. 4. We spent $9 per invite for 70 invites. Sounds like a lot but every element was custom designed for us. I had input on every cardstock, color and design. Invites are super important to me so I wanted to spend $ to get what I wanted.
  5. I did 45 minutes of eliptical this morning. I slept like poo though so it didn't feel great.
  6. I did 50 minutes on the stairclimber this morning. I was a sweaty mess!! Anyway, today was my weigh in day for WW and I'm down about 2.5 - 3 lbs from last monday. I'm trying to stick to 2 lbs a week so I have to make sure I'm not starving myself.

  8. Why don't you send her a paper swatch?
  9. I'm so glad everyone is back on board!! I'm also glad everyone is listening to their bodies and taking the needed breaks. I did 50 minutes on eliptical this morning. I also weighed myself this morning and I'm down about 3 lbs.
  10. I was sorta like you. I dreaded the making appointment part. I was totally prepared to have to fight off aggressive sales people and I hate that. Unlike you I think I was born in heels. I am a jeans girl, but heels go with those jeans. Anyway, the salons I went to all were great and no one was pushy. Since you are making an appointment you get assigned one salesperson to work with. It's not like you are surrounded. All my salespeople were awesome to work with. They really wanted me to find the perfect dress. Which I did! My advice is to make yourself try it. Just because you aren't obsessed with finding a dress doesn't mean you won't like trying them on. This is the only chance you wil ever have to do it and you don't want to miss out on the opportunity.
  11. I'm back on the workout train!! I took a few weeks off. I was getting burnt out and knew I'd really need to focus for the last 3 months before the wedding. So yesterday I did 50 minutes of cardio and today I did the same. I'm also being good on WW for these 3 months.
  12. Congrats!! Can't wait to hear how perfect everything was!
  13. It is the best coffee ever. Only suggestion - don't make it as strong as normal if you make strong coffee normally. I made myself dry heave/shake bc I made it too strong and drank too much on an empty stomach.

  16. Amy - Vicki brings wine - white bc it looks good in the pictures! Just relax and have fun. If Vicki can make me look like I did in those pics, you are going to be SUPER SMOKIN'!!!! One tip - if you have a particular shot you want, bring it up with her. Better to get what you want.
  17. I got my 2 girls the starfish necklace from Tiffany. They are hosting my bachlorette party/shower and for the thank you gift I got them custom t-shirts (w funny sayings about their hometowns), leather passport covers, wet bikini bags, and some lip stuff. I also got them little coin purses from Jcrew for their OOT bags.
  18. 2007 price for S&T was $22 per person on top of the $22 setup fee. IMHO - not worth it. I know a lot of people do it and love it, but at the tasting we did at the beginning of this month it was not great. Meat was tough and the lobster was chewy. I totally thought we would do the surf and turf going in, but we ended up w chicken and sea bass. And it wasn't the price difference that had any effect on us - I wouldn't have done S&T if it was the same price as all the other options.
  19. My new: dress, shoes, earrings Blue: Starfish in bouquet and ribbon on bouquet Borrowed: Hankerchief from mom Old: I'm taking old beading/buttons from my greatgrandmother's dress and putting them on/in my dress or on the hankie.
  20. Welcome! I am in Seattle by way of Ohio. Where in Cleveland? FI is from Pepper Pike, I'm from Cbus, we both went to Miami, and my boss is from the westside. Love the OH representation!! Where in Cabo are you looking?
