  3. Nice work Sarah! I so can't run distance so I admire anyone who takes on that as a goal. I did make it to the gym this morning. 50 minutes on elliptical and a little abs/arms/squat action.

Yeah - I took the weekend off because I did 5 days last week. I'm going tomorrow and Tuesday for sure. Then I'm hoping to get in a workout at least Friday and Sat before the wedding. Exercise has totally become my de-stress tool so I know I'll freak if I don't go the morning before the wedding.
  5. I'm doing a trial before the welcome dinner - like Christa did. I'm way too OCD to not do a trial. Also, I have REALLY thick hair and I want to make sure the style I pick holds up well. A lot of stylists don't know what to do with this much hair! Quick question: For those of you that did the trial, do you have directions to her salon

And ... where did you get the bracelet for your Mom and the GUM -- love it!!! "What looks like crazy" is just a book and the reading is the last paragraph of the book. I tweaked it a little so it wasn't in the first person. Here it is: He leaned over and kissed her like they were alone in that room, and right then, right there, she didn’t care what came next. Whatever it was, she knew it would be all right, or it wouldn’t be all right, but it would be part of the same unbroken line they were all walking in, which is, of course, the real lesson, and about as much perfection as she could stand without crying right there in front of everybody, which is, of course, what she did. Then it was done, official, and the party could begin in earnest. And it did. And they danced too wild, and they sang too long, and they hugged too hard, and kissed too sweet, and threw their heads back and howled just as loud as they wanted to howl, because by now they were all old enough to know that what looks like crazy on an ordinary day looks a lot like love if you catch it in the moonlight. The gum is from a store here in Seattle called Archie McPhee's. That is where I got the wedding toppers too. They just have a bunch of crazy crap. The bracelets are from uncommongoods.com
  7. Thanks for all the comments ladies. We are super excited and hope everyone has fun. To answer questions: Muzzafoos is the combination of our last names. All our friends call us that. I am totally telling Miami about the "merger." The door hangers are made on cardstock. I used a big hole puncher for the hole. They were pretty easy to make. I've gotten a few PMs about making guests a "target" for theft by using them and I'm concerned about this too so I'm telling guests not to actually use them. It sounds weird but better safe than sorry. They are really just for the timeline - not for the door hanger portion.
  8. I have been to weddings of all sizes where there are no seating charts and I never like it. (No offense - I know lots of people on here did it). I just always feel like people "run" to claim a table so they can sit with people they know which is kinda un-fun. Also, I've often been stuck at a table half full of people I don't know - random bride/groom family members like old aunt Mable. Not that I don't like meeting new people, but we usually have to travel a long way to these weddings and I want to sit with people I know that I don't see much. That said - if you know everyone who will be there knows each other/has had a meal together before then don't worry about the chart.
  9. My breakfasts are the same as you two! I get the Quaker Oats Low Sugar oatmeal packets and make them with water. I also sprinkle flax on top to get in some Omega 3s. I always have some sort of tea also. Another breakfast is the same yogurt/granola/fruit combo. Just be careful when you pick out granola - there are a lot of calories and picking the right kind can lower per serving calories from like 250 to 150. Big difference. Final breakfast when I stop at starbucks - the lowfat cheese/egg white/turkey bacon sandwich. Only 2 WW points and it's nice and hearty and warm.
  10. I use Bliss face wash and cleansing products. Steep clean is the only thing that will clear out my pores. Nars blush in Orgasm is fab. I also LOVE Nars lipgloss because it's not sticky. Bare Essentials is my everyday makeup. Love it.

  16. -Kate-

    I'm NEW~!

    Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. I heart Bubba!!! Perfect name for that sweet face.
  18. I was thinking the same thing...maybe they really like the people they have and they want to hire more people "like" you? And maybe because they like who they have and want to keep you all they don't want to hire someone who would make you miserable? BTW - this is coming from a person who never had to take anything like this so I don't really know what info they get from it.
  19. I wore boyshorts and a normal bra. I knew I would be going braless so I just wore a normal bra and got rid of it. I have been waxing/getting massages for so many years at so many different places that I could care less if people see the tatas. I just tried my dresses on with no bra. I went to smaller stores but they all had shoes and bras to use. I had my shoes so I just brought them. I never was given a slip or anything.
  20. Jen - i'm glad you are inspiring FI. That is great! And don't worry about T-day. You are still down over 10lbs!! I did 50 minutes of cardio today. That puts me at 4 workout days this week. I've been bad about everything else though. Plus my coworkers are taking me out tonight to celebrate the wedding. At least my weight has stayed the same!
