    I'm also a believer in the scent association. I normally wear Chanel Mademoiselle. For the wedding I got Jo Malone While Jasmine and Mint. Now, when I want to go back to the vaca and the wedding - I just wear that!

    We had our welcome dinner here with 54 people. It was fun, food was great, service was amazing. Everyone loved it!

    I got DH a watch, BD pics, and a joke gift (a thermos - ala The Jerk). He got me a large day of the dead statue from Mi Casa. I LOVE it because it's something for the house and it's art - not just a standard piece of jewelry.

    I think she uses Ricardo sometimes. I booked him on my own but they work together a lot. He was awesome!

    For those of you with fall/winter 08 weddings - if you can be strong and hold out their suits go on such a major sale around August. I wanted and got about 7 suits in September and the most I spent was about $30 for a suit. Most were $20 and they are so cute!

    I left mine at the store until about 2 days before I left. I didn't want to take it - where to keep it? how to keep it out of DH's way? how to keep the dogs from it? - YUCK! Let them keep it!!

    We were red and blue, but I love pink and chocolate brown. Pink and green is fun too. Or pink and orange.

    I agree - wait and get him linen pants. They will be so much cooler to wear (temp wise). Plus, most guy capris are cargo-like so they always look casual. I just think that if he wears capris that in 40 years when you look back at your pics he'll be like "why did I wear those pants?" bc they are fairly trendy.

    I think you should ask them if they will help. If they aren't married and haven't been in a wedding before, they might not know that they are supposed to help. Also, just start delegating jobs. If they don't do it, then you can talk to them about their role.

    I'm not a riu person, be we had everyone "in" the wedding at the rehearsal. It only took about 15 minutes so it didn't hog anyone's time. We didn't have the officiant there - just the wedding coordinator. Basically they showed us where to meet, how to lineup, where to walk. Easy breezy.

    Mine was ivory. I never went in thinking I wanted a particular color. I just wanted what looked best on me. White was NOT that color.

    We registered at Macy's, Crate & Barrel, REI, and paws.org (charity). Niner on the honeymoon registry - sorry!

    I just kept ours with me at all times before the wedding. I left them in the boxes and just kept them in my bag. I never went anywhere without a purse or my pool bag. Worked for me!
