I say #2. The red one will look like a spot. I can just imagine a grandma walking up to you trying to "wipe" it off. Also, I think the red shoes and purse are enough. That could be because I had red shoes and a purse for my wedding... I just think if you have too many "accent" pieces with color on you, it will go from being an accent piece to more of a matchy/matchy theme deal.

I used Paper Source White cardstock and it worked for me.

If you stop shopping for dresses after you get this one - you'll never find one better!! Seriously, the key is to stop shopping for them after you get yours. I could have had 7 different dresses - one for my dream garden wedding, one for my dream traditional wedding, one for my hollywood glam theme wedding, etc. You just have to think of it as something checked off your list and stop.

This is going to sound weird, but do you have any women's prisons around you? One near my work has a special program/business that does dog sitting. It's a HUGE privilege for the inmates to be allowed to participate so they take really good care of the animals. A lady at my office swears by it. There are non-inmates that run the business portion, but the inmates deal with the dogs. Weird, but if you are desparate... Also - it's really cheap.

The big thing for my mom was my dress. She lives 3000 miles away so this is what I did: I went dress shopping alone and narrowed it down to 4 dresses - 2 at two different stores. She flew out for a weekend and I took her with me to the stores, let her pick out some, and tried on the ones I already picked. I knew which one I wanted before she came out, but it was nice to have her there. Also, it helped that she agreed. Also, I let her pick out the personal stuff I had with me - my purse, hankie, etc.
