After agonizing over this decision for over a month, we finally decided on our wedding bands and they are officially ordered. Now, they take 4-6 weeks to get here, so let's just hope it's closer to the 4 rather than the 6 or they won't get here on time. Yikes! I can't believe the wedding is this close, I'm kinda freaking out about all this last-minute stuff today...deep breaths... Anyway, here they are! Mine matches my ering (Tacori platinum), except the diamonds and tooling only go halfway around my ering- I got the eternity band wedding ring. This was what we couldn't decide on, but I want to wear the wedding band separate sometimes and don't want them fastened together and didn't want to worry about the band spinning. Jeff's is also Tacori, but in 18K gold.

Ann, we're in the same boat! I can't find shoes either. I logged on this morning and hoped someone would have found something perfect for you, but alas, the search continues. I'm looking for something similar to what you describe, only with red accents, if any. I'll keep my eyes peeled for you too...

10 Wedding Tips for the Groom
Sarah replied to ~Melissa~'s topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
Andrea, your FI is too funny. I just can't let Jeff see this- he always wants to type on here, but I told him he had to get his own account. lol, I love the accessories rather than flowers train of though- Jeff subscribes to that idea too. I get sweatshirts and misc electronics spontaneously, while other girls get flowers... -

(that's just jealousy speaking, i mean that in the nicest possible way) lol, you're funny. I really really really wanted false lashes at the bd shoot, and she wouldn't give them to me. So, if it makes you feel any better I think your lashes look better than mine in the pics:)

We totally don't have time to get her original. Keep your fingers crossed for us! I swear, I just want to kill FI right now! How could he noth have thought of this & taken care of it?? I am so angry and sad and frustrated right now!! thanks for all the support & help ladies. How could I think things could be calm, cool & collected at this point? Oh yeah, cuz i'm organized & on top of MY STUFF! I called my friend and she said she didn't think you need the original since she had hers faxed, since it looks like that's all you can do right now, we'll just keep our fingers crossed. It always seems like something like this happens at the last second. Hang in there, keep breathing (sorry, don't know if that's helpful at all at this point), it will be OK. You are on top of YOUR STUFF- too bad FI isn't! But, that's why he has you and that's why this will all work out. I feel like Tony Little...YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Everything I'm reading tells me it needs to be notarized. However, there are notaries everywhere- in places you wouldn't even think of. Where does the ex work? Could there be a notary at her workplace? And Rafael as well? Still looking for more info...

OK Christa, hang in there- we'll help you... I'm frantically searching the internet too- what about this one? http://www.travel-masters.net/forms/...onsent%202.pdf

Hey Christa, Jenette has already given you the advice I was coming back to post. I also did a quick search and although it doesn't look like a huge deal in the US, it is for Mexico. I also remember a friend telling me when she went to Cancun a couple years ago and brought her daughter's friend that they had to have documentation faxed to them in Mexico regarding the parent's affidavid to allow their daughter to travel. So, I do think you need it. Good luck.

Lenita's Moon Palace Wedding Review
Sarah replied to andreslove's topic in Destination Wedding Reviews
Congratulations Lenita- I breezed through your review since I'm running out the door to go to work. I'll have to read it more thoroughly later. However, that said- it sounds like everything was great. Your pics are awesome, everything looks gorgeous and you and Andre look so happy. You were an absolutely radiant bride and I couldn't be happier for you, you're such a sweetie. I loved Andre's reaction and can only hope that I get something similar out of Jeff. It was a blast doing the bpics with you, Ann & Leigh- I know it's a crazy story, but one I think will be fun to tell in the future... Make sure you stop back every once in a while:) -
Christa- this is exactly what I've been looking for!!!! I thought with some orchids and my veil this would be perfect. Thanks for sharing... hahahaha

Should I have a MARIACHI BAND or a TRIO?

I've not given them any specific songs, just asked that they play soft, low key music pre-ceremony & for the processional. Then I want them to break into full mariachi mode when we walk down the aisle after the ceremony to get the party started! I figure they've done enough weddings that they "get it"...let you know soon! I agree with Christa, Tammy- you definitely don't need something else to add to your stress! Skip it... Christa, I was doing the same thing with my Marachi Trio- they said they can do romantic music for the beginning of the ceremony, then I said for the recessional and cocktail hour I want loud Msxico party music! But then I got it into my head I needed more control over the situation (why must I continuously do this to myself?) and emailed them to ask if they had a song list. You're right though, they do this all the time- I should just trust them to play their own thing and stay out of it! -
Wedding Week Attire
Sarah replied to KarlaV's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Yeah, they sell them right on the beach in front of the resorts. I got 2 for $15 last time I was there. A white one (which I will wear to get ready in), and a brown one (goes with my fav. bathing suit). I just ordered this because it looked a little more substantial and I like the colors... -

Sarah replied to Sarah's topic in Wedding Music & Entertainment
Right now I'm just kinda flying by the seat of my pants on this one! It usually takes them about a week to get back to me when I email them, and it's been almost a week so we'll see. I just wanted to know if they have a song list and if I can choose what they play. If I can choose, cool. If not, I'm sure it will be just fine. This is one thing I'm just not going to stress about too much.
