My text only extends beyond the lines on the template I posted because I changed everyone's last names to say "Lastname". On my originals, with everyone's names correct, they do not extend past the line. That line will print so you will have to cut inside the line. I kept adjusting my text until it just barely fit so it could be the largest possible. What you should do is type all your text in a slightly smaller font, then adjust it up as big as you can once you get all the text you need on there. Good luck- can't wait to see them! Great deal on the eyelet setter too- I just didn't want to buy any more equipment, so I used a hole punch and brads. -
1st Fitting...Estimate...$625 - $775!!!! Yikes!

(may not be the same/as long depending on how busy your seamstress is) Anyway, so for me it was almost a three week process...and your wedding is SO soon! Get on it girl!!! lol! ;-) OK, OK, point taken- lol. I just called and have an appointment for Thursday night. I actually already had my first dress done, now I have my second one to contend with! -
It doesn't open- the tissues just slide in the slot on the top.

omg Jessalyn I think that's the craziest thing I've ever heard! I'm glad that you've discovered this place is expensive and that hopefully you can get your dress done somewhere else for cheaper. I haven't started getting mine altered yet- probably something I should think about since the wedding is only a little over a month away...yikes- now i'm scared! -
I just told people that once they get on the highway that runs along the beach to watch the km markers. Dreams is around km 18, and I said once they pass the Hilton they're really close...something to that effect.

Congratulations Melissa! I hope you have a wonderful wedding. Can't wait to hear all about it!

Looks great Nicole! I think it's super cute and your sisters will love it. I think it's great that you're inviting them to stay with you during your last night as a single girl! Great job!

In my never-ending quest for cute, cheap, and easy DIY projects, I have come across another cute one! I got this off Aylee's site: aylee, but it's actually a Martha Stewart Project. I've attached the template for anyone who is interested, and the instructions are below. I made the 16 I need while watching tv last night- very easy! Here's mine: Here are the directions (copied from Aylee's site, originally from Marthastewart.com): Materials 1 8.5x11 paper tissue Tools ruler, computer, printer Directions Using the Word template below, connect the crop marks on the sides with a ruler and fold the paper with the ruler as a guide. Fold solid crop marks towards you and fold dashed crops marks away from you. Center a tissue on the sheet and fold back the sides where the tissue ends. In the back, weave the flaps into one another. Insert tissues in the front. There are pictures on Aylee's site of how to weave the flaps together, or see the attached Word document- basically you just alternate them into eachother in the back. When I made mine, I used a little heavier paper- not quite cardstock, but a heavy shiny striped paper. The side that folded over was plain, so I used my Fiskars Texture Plate to emboss the filigree design there. I then printed one of my monograms from Creative Montage onto Avery clear stickers, cut it out and stuck it to the front. I'm trying to think of something to put on the back- maybe "To dry your tears of joy...". Is that stupid or cute? I can't decide, so go ahead and be brutally honest. My brother and dad are singing a song together (and my dad's playing the guitar) during my ceremony, and I know there will be some tears, so I thought I'd go ahead and supply the tissues! lol template-tissue.doc Doing the back.doc

Here are my templates with the names changed. I have 6 leaves to the fan, not including the outside. You don't really need the last two- they're just something i wanted to include... Fan 123.doc Fan 456.doc -

All of my paperstock is from Discount Wedding Invitations, Vellum Paper, Vellum Envelopes, Card Stock Source - Paperandmore.com. I used crimson metallic cardstock for the outside leaves, and champagne metallic cardstock on the inside. The text is printed on platinum vellum and affixed to the champagne cardstock with spray adhesive. I actually embossed each outside piece using a Fiskars texture plate and texturing tool. I bought them at Hobby Lobby, but here's a link to what they look like: Fiskars 12-5659 6pc Texture Plate Set II: Widget Supply. I used the "filigree" plate, which is the second from the left on the top row. Warning- this is a time consuming project! Edited to add: I used brads from Hobby Lobby. They don't list their measurement, but my guess is that they're about 1/4 inch in diameter. -

I did two different fans. The first one is the actual fan template from Aylee. This will be on each guest's chair at the wedding. The second fan is going to sit on top of each plate at dinner. The menu will sit on top of the fan. This fan has a thank you note tied to the bottom. These fans came from whiteaisle.com : Paper Fans for Wedding Guest Favors, Hand Held Fans, Wedding Hand Fans, White Paper Fans -

Sarah replied to TammyB's topic in Cabo Wedding Vendors
Nope, sorry Tammy. I can't believe how busy he is! Well, yes I can- he's that good:) -
omg Kate that is too funny! I think it's sooo cute though...we weren't going to do a guest book, but this is tempting!

I play the lottery EVERY day. I always buy the maximum amount of tickets. I took a break for a while, then I also didn't win much for a while, but I'm back on a lucky streak again. Plus, once you have a ton of points, you earn alot of interest off your points. I think I earn like 4,000 points every other day simply off the interest of what I have in the "bank". And, I've been on here since day one on this new website, and since last summer on the old one, so I've just accumulated alot from posting and playing the lottery for so long! Seriously, if anyone ever needs points for something just PM me and I'll donate- I have more than I'll ever be able to do anything with!

So Jeff & I finally joined a gym together so we can get in shape before Cabo! A friend of mine at work goes to the same gym, so we are going 3-4 days a week (they're all plotted out on the calendar for the next two months) at 8am, whether we've worked the night before or not. I just worked last night, then did 1 1/2 hrs at the gym this morning and I'm beat, but it feels sooooo good to be doing something consistently. We'll see if we can keep it up!

I bought the pocketfolds from cardsandpockets.com and bought the cardstock and vellum from paperandmore.com. lol, I'm not sure where I find the time- I just don't do laundry or housecleaning for a few days! And I work nights, so sometimes I only sleep during the day for like 3 hours...

omg Christa I logged on here to look for something else and what a fun surprise to find your review and some pics! You look so unbelievably amazing and happy and beautiful and radiant and everything I pictured you would. I'm sorry about your little breakdown, it sounds like everything went perfectly despite your concerns. I'm glad you were able to relax and enjoy yourself at the reception. It looks like it was a blast! Enjoy your honeymoon- you soooo deserve it. Can't wait til you get back so we can pick your brain some more... Congratulations!!!!!!
