We decided there were just too many logistics involved in getting an ipod or something to play at the ceremony (who will play it, what if it's wrong...etc) so we hired a Mariachi trio to start 30 minutes before the ceremony and play through the cocktail hour (total of 2 hours). In the end, we feel happy with this decision since we are getting married in Mexico, we wanted the wedding to have a little Mexican flair to it. We also are doing a legal ceremony, so there will be spanish involved!

I like it Tammy! I think you should add the however, as previously mentioned. Other than that it looks great. Sounds like so much fun. Like I said, I'm on call otherwise we'd love to join you!

Oh yes, I can always be counted on for some last minute splurges. I really wanted the hoodie too, but I just couldn't justify having that when I already bought a "soon to be mrs. sp...." one. I figured a little retail therapy never hurt anyone and today I deserve it...lol -

Thanks for reminding me that I wanted to order some more! I bought the same bathing suit you did, 3 pr sparkly panties, a new bra, 3 babydoll sets, a pair of pink sweats, and the "just married" sparkly tank. I got a little carried away... And I paid for it to be delivered Friday...yikes. -

She quoted me $50 for a "large" bag. Not quite sure what that means, but she said it would be enough for our aisle, the FG basket, to spread on the tables, and if I want to have guests throw petals she suggested another small bag for $30. At this point, I'm just going to pay it and go for it. I'm not in the mood to price shop or negotiate! lol -

The design on the bags is by Aylee- it's one of the monograms I had made. Her link is by my monograms in my first post. They are actually very easy to make. -

Yup, she rocks! I just love looking at (drooling over...) her work. If only I had an unlimited budget...but I'm sooo excited to see my Juan pics. And, Natasha, I think Jim Kennedy did a fantastic job with your wedding pics. They are amazing! You're fortunate to have had him. -

Sarah replied to -Kate-'s topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
They're all really cute Kate, but I definitely like #3 the best, Tiffany name aside! And, if it fits in your budget I would definitely go the Tiffany route. Most girls love that little blue box! Great choices...#2 would be my second pick. -

Was it difficult? Relax kiddo, you have everything planned and have worked very hard. Enjoy the beauty of it all. Lizzy Sounds like a great plan Lizzy! If only I could make as much money as I do at my "real job". It would be so much fun:) I used the Fiskars Texture Plates, just do a google search & you'll find them. I bought mine at Hobby Lobby. It's the same concept as what Anny did for her awesome shower invites, just a little different tool. It wasn't hard, just VERY time-consuming. It probably took at least 2-3 minutes to do each embossed leaf (2 per program). Quote: Originally Posted by JANET1111 OMG sarah you are amazing. And the wedding is SO SOON! I can't wait. Standing invitation for any of you who want to fly to Cabo in a couple weeks... Glenda, you're such a sweetie:) Thanks for all your nice comments girls. It actually helps you feel more organized to do a post like this...get it all down and in front of you in an organized way- if you haven't already! -

I keep running through lists of stuff in my head, but I need to get it all down on paper (or on computer, lol). I know there are things I still need to do...they're just not coming to me yet! So to answer your question, I'm not sure that I'm freaking out at this point- I'm just not able to think clearly because I'm so excited! Oh, I know. I still need ribbon for my bouquet and corsage pins, to upload my music playlist to mp3 player and decide on final wording for sand ceremony. I'm sure there's other stuff...but at least that will give me something to work on tonight! -

Different resorts and judges have different rules. Dreams Cabo is pretty laid back. I didn't have to have any documents translated, I just bring the originals and they take it from there... -

Attire Here is my dress. It is by Allure Bridal. I don’t have a picture of a model in the dress, but here I am trying my hardest! This is my dress that I originally bought for the wedding, but decided was too informal. This is now going to be for my “trash the dress†session the day after the wedding. Sorry about the pics, they are pre-alteration. The dress was HUGE on me and was a $900 Venus dress found brand new at a thrift store when a local bridal shop donated their samples… Here is my Welcome Dinner dress, from Cache: My shower Dress (Jcrew): Jeff’s Suit (Banana Republic): Bridesmaid’s Dress (Nordstrom): Groomsmen’s Attire (TJMaxx & Burlington Coat Factory): Flower Girl: Stay tuned....this is page 2 of 5
