You will need copies of your passports, birth cerfiticates, and divorce decrees if either of you have been married before (for some reason I don't think you have, but just can't remember tonight). I just made copies and brought them with me so I didn't have to lose sight of my original documents.

I just got that funky message "CPU quota", suspended...etc. I waited a few minutes and was able to get back on

Great tips! Thanks Natasha- I'll have to look into this... I'd really like to get off my BC since I've been on it for 10 years. I'm just scared because of all the breakouts I had last time I tried. This might be a solution. Thanks for the info!

OMG ANDREA THIS IS SOOO EXCITING! I'm so happy for you- I can tell by your post that this is what will make you happy! Congratulations on getting the wedding YOU want. It will be perfect and intimate! Sorry I don't know much about the restaurants and bars in the area but I know someone will. Congratulations sweetie- this is wonderful news!

lol Good luck! Are we getting anything new or cool? Or just an update... Any fun anniversary plans?

Don't worry Nicole, it will all be fine. I wish my ceremony was earlier too, just because the ceremony & reception went by so fast! But, looking back, it was so wonderful and we weren't bored at all- time flew by and I enjoyed every second- you will too. Don't stress about the time, what happens will happen and your guests will be having so much fun they aren't going to care if you sneak away for a few minutes. You can always have Juan stay later if you need him to- he'll ask you if you want him to stay longer... Just an idea, but maybe in your case you should save your dances until later, when it's dark, after everyone eats- that will either give you more picture time during the daylight, or more eating time with your guests before you sneak away for sunset pics...just a thought...

Sarah replied to Rachelle E.'s topic in Post your Destination Wedding & Engagement Pictures!
Yay! I already looked at them in the other thread, but I'm so glad you decided to post them! It was beautiful... -

I think that's the best idea Nicole- just make sure Mariana knows what time you want the food started, and that you want it started without you. They waited for us to start eating, which turned out fine, I just felt bad that my guets waited so long to eat. They had drinks tho, so they were fine!

Hmmm...well, on May 7th the sun was setting about 7:30ish, so it's definitely going to be later than that at your wedding. We showed up at our reception at about 8, and it was dark. After looking at your timeline, I think the best option for you would probably be to just sneak away for a few minutes during dinner if you want sunset pics. You don't have a ton of time saved in your timeline for pics- the 45 minutes after the ceremony are seriously going to FLY by. Maybe that is all the pics you want to get and I'm sure Juan can do alot in 45 minutes- it just wouldn't be enough time for me! What about taking some before the wedding, or are you against that idea? Whatever you decide, just make sure you make it clear to Juan! He'll keep you taking pics forever...Make sure he knows what time you want to be at the reception, what time you want to go back out for pics, etc...

Aww, Rachelle you looked so pretty! What a beautiful wedding. You're crazy- thinking we don't want to see your pics. I think they deserve their own thread in the photos section. You forget that even though we're DW brides, we're BRIDES first- and who doesn't like wedding pics?!? Anyway, I LOVE the sparklers ideaa- Jen I'm sure you'll get awesome pics with them. This is something I wish I had done, but just never got around to it...I love Glenda's idea of the sparklers in the sand- too cute!

A couple comments about timelines...esp to Nicole! You won't run on time. You might be close, but it's really hard to keep on track unless you obsess- I refused to, therefore we ran late. Oh well, I didn't care- just FYI. Juan will spend waaayyyyy more time taking pics of you Nicole than anyone else- you might want to allow more time in your timeline for pics of you and the girls, rather than of the guys- right now you've got more time for the guys. You're not going to get sunset pics with the timeframe you have. If that doesn't matter to you, then your timeline is fine. If you want them, decide if you're going to take limited pics with Juan, and then go to the reception and break away later, or just show up at the reception late. We had a small group and therefore elected to just show up at the reception late (we didn't get there until almost 8:00- our timeline called for us to be there at about 7). I didn't think of this during my planning, so just some food for thought. It's amazing how fast the time flies when you're there and how much time pics can take. Our pictures were pretty much our #1 priority, so that's where we spent our time...

Here is my timeline- hope it helps...thanks to Nicole for the original document that I modified...

Looks great Stephanie! I just have a couple comments: 1. Do you want everything capitalized or not? I'd make all the "to the" "at the" etc not capitalized, and all the other words capitalized- does that make sense? For instance, I'd do "Guests Arrive at the Beach" and "Mingle at the Cocktail Hour" and "Say Goodnight to the Newlyweds", and so on... 2. Do you want the date on there? I'd maybe put it right under your names. Great job!
