Jeff wore the Banana Republic suit that Kate described. It wasn't too heavy and was quite comfortable (according to Jeff who doesn't wear a suit very often!). It also traveled & cleaned well.

I'm so excited! I finally got my pictures from Juan. Now I can start making photobook, slideshows, and all the other stuff I want to do with these...oh yeah, forgot wallpaper my house! lol I know some of you didn't get to see my TTD pics because the slideshow wasn't compatible with MAC- those are at the bottom. I think I have uploaded about 6 posts worth of pics...there are a ton, hopefully you enjoy them as much as I have. There are about 1700 pics, I don't know how i'll narrow it down to make a photobook, but below are a bunch that didn't make Juan's slideshow, but I love. I think my favorites folder has abou 500 pics in it! omg! Here you go...stay tuned for more, keep scrolling!

Remember...you can always do 10 minute segments for free to YouTube! lol I'm checking on that One True Media thing right now. I made an awesome slideshow of my brother's graduation that is about 12 minutes long and I want to figure out how to email it to him or host it somewhere...I'm uploading it there now, so I'll let you know how it goes! I also just started editing our video too...this stuff takes forever! Can't wait to see it Ann!

Great review Kash. I'm so glad that despite the issues with your hotel you were able to have a wonderful wedding. The problem with weddings is that there is no "return business". However, with this forum, problems don't go unnoticed and do certainly affect future business. Hopefully your experience will help other Hilton brides to have an easier time...Congratulations again!

Umm, yeah we want to see it! Hurry up! I had to do a little research to figure out how to upload to YouTube, but the first thing you have to do is "rip" the DVD to your computer to an AVI file...I downloaded the free trial of AoA DVD ripper: DVD Ripper, Convert DVD to AVI, DVD to iPod MP4 You're technically only allowed to rip one 10 minute video with this trial, but I found that if you immediately rename the file before trying again you can do as many 10 minute segments as you want. I just named mine "Wedding 1" "Wedding 2" etc... YouTube has a pretty good tutorial on how to upload your file from there... Let me know if you can't figure it out...I'll try to troubleshoot some more from there. Also, photobucket will do a 10 minute video with their pro level account. I have that too...

Oops- I just found this post! I just saw your post with the pics and asked where Maggie got her dress- this answered it! lol I'm so glad you had success in NYC! I absolutely LOVE her dress- so perfect for her. And you already got your Pash's...that's great! Things are coming together for you, the wedding will be here before you know it!

About 2 weeks after I got engaged, a friend told me about a local thrift store that had wedding dresses donated from a local dress shop. I thought I should check it out, and ended up buying a dress that day- it was a Venus Bridal dress, original tags still on for like $800+ that I got for $99. It was perfect for the beach, and the simple DW I thought I was going to have. Well, the wedding got bigger, and FI & I decided we wanted something more formal. Also, I made the mistake of asking FI what style of dresses he thought he would like (he's extremely opinionated about clothing, believe it or not). When he described the type of dress he WOULDN"T like, it fit the dress I had bought...so, I decided I needed another dress. Also, I felt like I got ripped off on the whole "dress buying" experience and wanted to have fun doing it. So yes, my taste changed, my wedding style changed, and I bought the first one too quickly. But, it ended up being a great TTD dress, and I am soooo glad I bought it in the end.

Wowzers- that's a RING! FI gets an A+...congratulations!
