  5. My reception was at Oceana. We had a small group and I loved the intimacy of the location. I think it would be good if you have 50 people or less. Here are a couple pics of my reception setup:
  6. Wow- you are one lucky girl! Amazing photos!
  7. FWIW, my legal wedding in Cabo was zero hassle. I have had no trouble changing my name and haven't had my documents from Mexico translated or apostilled. Just wanted to make sure you didn't think everyone had as much trouble as Tammy! But, with that said, we really wanted our ceremony in Mexico to be the real thing and didn't mind waiting, or the hassle that would go with it. That's just us. If it doesn't matter to you I think the Vegas thing sounds AWESOME! I would love to have done something like that! Especially if you're already kinda going to be there, and you planned to do a civil ceremony here you should definitely do it! By the way, where are the pics of your dress?

  9. I finished my other books last week- made one in Sharedink for a coworker, and made a MyPublisher book for my brother of his BMT graduation pics. I'm getting ready to start mine, but I don't know where to start! lol What did MyPublisher do? 10. Happy Birthday Lenita! I hope Andre does something special for you, since it's your first bday as a new Mrs! Have a wonderful day...we miss you!
  11. Awesome! I was looking at them and thinking "these are her non-pro pics?" but then I remembered you said Jason took them and he's a photographer! lol You look so beautiful! I love your necklaces and flowers, your dress was gorgeous. Can't wait to see the "real" pics!

Losing my Cali a month ago has been really crappy and then going through this yesterday was heartbreaking. They have him on IV, antibiotics, baytril, reglan and buprenex. So, I always Google the print out they give me, because I am a freak that way. It's stuff to help with pain, to help with nausea and of course the antibiotics. I Googled also to see if there was something that was on the list to kill the parvo. There wasn't, so I called the vet hospital and they said there isn't one thing they can give him to kill the parvo, that's what the antibiotics are for. Parvo is very new to me, so I have been reading as much as I can about it. Last night I called to check up on him and they said he was still lethargic and sad and had diarrhea. I called at 4:30 (woke up and couldn't go back to bed) and they said he is up and acting like a puppy! Wants to play and give kisses! He still has diarrhea though. I know it's a good sign that he is up and playing a little more, but I am wondering about the diarrhea. I hope it stops soon!!! Thank you guys for all your well wishes! I truly, truly appreciate it! It sounds like they're doing the right thing. I'm glad to hear he is perkier today! That's always a good sign. Oh, and you're right- there is nothing they can do to directly "treat" Parvo, since it's a virus it has to run it's course. The only thing you can do is support the symptoms until it's gone and keep the animal alive... You said you got this puppy on Friday, right? Did you get any sort of health guarantee? Did the vet you took him to do a Parvo test? She should totally be liable for this puppy's vet expenses because he was sick when you picked him up! Parvo has a 3-10 day incubation period, so he was already infected when you bought him. If he'd stayed at her house he probably would have died. She at least should reimburse your purchase price if it is less than the vet bill (which my guess is that it will be!). Good luck!
  13. Aww, I just finished reading Karen's review, and now I come to this. I think you two win BDW "Couple" of the month- how totally awesome to hear the review from both sides! Thanks so much for both sharing your perspecitve... I just have to say once again how obviously head over heels in love you sound and look in your words and photos. You two are so cute, and are incredibly lucky to have found each other. From your weding pics, to honeymoon (I love the pic of Karen with the mask on- too cute!) and just the way you talk about eachother- it's so fun to see! I wish you both many years of happiness!
  14. Congratulations Mrs Lambert! I am just sooo happy for you and Jason. You are both such wonderful people, and the love you have for eachother resonates from your words and pictures. It sounds like your wedding day was a wonderful beginning to the rest of your life together. Enjoy your husband!
  15. Aww Martha, I'm so sorry...that is so scary. At least you took him right in and they have him started on treatment. I worked for a vet for 10 years, and the puppies that got started on treatment right away seemed to be the ones that pulled through. Do they have him on IV's and antibiotics & antiemetics (stuff that helps him stop vomiting)? Keep us posted...I've got my fingers crossed for you and will say a little prayer for Jack.

I did- I put the slideshow together totally in Windows Movie and then uploaded to photobucket. now that I've played around a little more in WMM I'd like to redo it, but I'll probably make a slideshow with Juan's pics and edit our wedding video first! We love it...the song and the movie! lol Quote: Originally Posted by Wisco4 Sarah, I love your menus. Did you do those yourself? Were your invitations similar? Yes, I did them. This is what I used for the menus: A7 Crimson Red Metallic Backing Card Enclosure - Paperandmore.com
  17. Great! You got a dress! Now where are the pics? lol
  18. I LOVE my Windows Movie Maker. I'm starting to get addicted! lol I've made several slideshows, and am starting to edit my wedding video as well. Here are two that I've uploaded...both of these are on this forum in other threads: This is from my brother's BMT Graduation Jared's BMT Graduation at One True Media - share slideshows, slide shows, MySpace slideshows, MySpace codes, free video sharing, video montages. This is the first one that I made (not very good- would like to redo some of the fades & stuff), but it has a bunch of misc pics from our wedding week.
  19. "Our song" is Come What May from the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack. It's on our wedding slideshow too.
  20. I did the pocketfolds (Ann posted a link above) and they were relatively easy. They were a little time-consuming for me, but only because I assembled them with brads and did stuff that's probably not necessary! You can just print them out and assemble them with not as much detail as mine and they'd be quite simple and relatively inexpensive for the effect. Everyone I talked to after receiving them said they were the nicest invitation they've ever gotten. I made about 40 total, and it probably took me the better part of 2 days to do them all...
  21. Portofino...definitely! All the restaurants are great, and I've had things I've loved at both. But, Portofino has such great ambience and the service there was the best, in my opinion.
  22. Welcome back to the both of you, and a huge congratulations! I can't wait to hear all about, especially Jason's big surprise!
  23. I was able to get my new license with the marriage license and paper from the Soc Security office. My bank wanted my new DL and marriage license...
