  1. My cake didn't really look very impressive, but that's probably my fault. We both didn't really care about the cake, so I didn't put much planning into it. We just had the resort do our cake. Cabo has some cake makers that do much prettier cakes! But, it was cheap and tasted great, so that's what matters I guess.

  4. My dress was lined, and you couldn't see through it. It totally depends on the type of dress. My dress just was falling down (strapless) and clingy (sheath style)! We did this: And then this...so here's how you look after your dress (and YOU!) get soaked: I don't have many great close-ups of my dress at the end (it was getting dark and very cold very fast!) but here's kinda an outline. I think my dress did fine. The biggest thing that I see about it is that my dress kept falling down after we got out of the water, and was making my back fat look worse! lol This is not one of my favorite pics of the night...

My e-ring, and both our wedding bands are insured through our home-owner's insurance. The company we use is escaping me right now, Hanover maybe? Anyway, the insurance company had to have copies of the original appraisals on hand before they would insure it. I'm not sure what our rate is per thousand, but I think my e-ring costs like $180 a year, and our wedding bands were another $80 or so. When you consider the cost of replacing the ring it's not bad.
