  1. Christine! Your pictures are sooooo AWESOME! I love your photographer- who did you use? I know it was someone Leigh suggested- he's great! There are so many great pics I don't know where to start- the one where your details are on the Al Gore book- I think it's really cool, since you are DC people...your bouquet with the starfish (I still can't believe you MADE that bouquet- it's amazing!). I love the one where you are dragging Will away by the cake...too cute. And, what is that book that everyone is looking at and laughing at? Please don't tell me b pics......!! By the way, awesome job with the Lumapix Signature- you're a pro already! It looks great...keep em coming!
  2. I did my own hair & makeup for my TTD session. I did a less formal hairstyle than my wedding (which had been done by the resort), and pretty much the same makeup as the wedding. I liked the overall look...my pics are in my sig below.
  3. Ahhh...I wanna do it again! Natalie- you two are HOT! That looked like so much fun- those were some serious waves you were fighting! There are so many great pics I don't know where to start. I think #13 & 22 are my faves, for the moment! Congrats on such great pics. Juan, you never cease to amaze...

  5. That's a great idea Christine! I think I ended up cutting out over 200 pieces when all was said and done. AND I embossed the front & back of each fan. These were VERy time consuming!
  6. No problem! Feel free to ask any and all questions...it's really fun once you get used to it.
  7. No problem...Tammy was a lifesaver when I was learning this program, ask away! I have the enhanced version.
  8. I voted that I wouldn't pay for it, but only because it's something I can make myself. I did actually pay Juan to make mine, because at the time I didn't know I could do it myself. I think there's probably a market for it, for people who aren't computer savvy. Post some samples!
  9. There should be a "export" tab, if you're running version 4.0 it's on the lower left. See it?
  10. I've just never been very good with one, I'm more coordinated with plain old scissors! Plus, it's thick paper, so it's not like you can do multiple layers. Sorry, no help with that one!
  11. Courtney, you and Aaron are too cute for words. I LOVE all of them and can't wait to see more! Your b-pics are going to be amazing...
  12. Lots of free time in front of the tv was spent cutting those round edges. I never found an easy way. That's the problem with these, but I think the overall look is worth it. You also don't really need as many pages as mine had...they look totally fine with 3 or 4, especially if you have a ton to make.
  13. I'd highly recommend investing in a paper cutter if you're doing a lot of DIY projects...you can cut all the long lines with the paper cutter, and the round lines by hand. These are a bit of a PITA to cut out
  14. Jeff's parents gave us 10k, we spent more than half of that paying to get MY parents there! We paid for the rest, saved & put a little on credit cards with 0% interest that we're paying off now.
  15. Great review Court! I'm jealous of the towel elephant. Come to think of it, I never got a towel animal the whole time! I guess I got shafted in the room service area! lol I LOVE the Portofino Bruschetta...one of my faves at Dreams. Also, I didn't think the buffet tres leches was nearly as good as the wedding cake tres leches...just an fyi. Thanks for all the detail- I can't wait to see your Leigh b-pics! Oh- how did you get away from Aaron? What did you tell him you were doing?

  17. Be sure to look for Edyta & Tammy (host) at my wedding! lol
  18. Here are my YouTube Wedding videos- this is just my raw footage, and you can hear the Mariachis...right at the beginning, and a few other times throughout. They sounded much better in "real life". On the video, it cuts in and out so much you never really hear them play a whole song..oh well, it gives you the general idea. However, this is a full band, not a trio. They played "romantic" music when I walked down the aisle, and "party" music at the end. 19. I love all the little outfits! BCF has such great little kids' formal wear!

She really didn't plan much, and didn't care about organization, so everything was a huge disaster. But, she just kinda laughed it off (she's seriously the most laid back person ever!) and although some of us were kinda wondering how she could be so "whatever" about the whole thing, it's absolutely hilarious now. One example: I sang in her wedding and had practiced my song during the rehearsal the night before- well, the sound person didn't put the tape in the player correctly and when the music started up and I opened my mouth to sing- it was on the DEMO side! Another voice came over the speakers...I didn't know what to do- didn't want to stop the song, it was during the unity candle lighting...so I just sang along with the person on the tape. It was sooooo embarrassing, but now it's hilarious. I even went and double checked the tape before the ceremony, but apparently they had flipped it over. omg, I wanted to die. That was totally an accident, but it absolutely was the way the entire day went. Sorry to hijack, this story just reminded me of that wedding!
  21. Wow, that's such a bummer. It sounds like a lot of that could have been avoided by some better organization...less to be learned ladies!

I thought it was really strange of the hotel and Epic- but, my parents are so laid back, they were just like "whatever" and waited for another shuttle. I'm not upset about it, because they aren't! But, yeah, I wish they would have told me sooner so I could have gotten to the bottom of it. Strange. Sorry to hijack your thread!
  23. Wow- you guys got a TON of great pics, and that's not even the pro ones! Thanks for sharing, your guests will love this!
