  1. Here's what my vessel looks like: Here's what I did: -The day after the wedding, we got extra beach sand and filled the vessel almost to the top (within about 3 inches) -Then, I packed paper towel in until it reached the top. I mean packed HARD! -I bought saran wrap at the Mega store in Cabo (or you could bring it with you) and put about 5 layers of it over the top, extending down the sides and taped around the sides with packing tape. I put a rubber band around the neck to hold it tight. -I carried it on as my carryon on the way home. I did lie and say that all the sand came from the US, because they were trying to tell me that if it was Cabo sand I couldn't bring it home! They ran some tests on it when we went through security, but in the end let me pass.
  2. If you're going to use one sheet for each invitation, then I'll say it- you're nuts! lol If you can get several invitations out of each sheet, where it only costs you like $1 or $2 per invite, then I say go for it if you love it. What are your plans?
  3. I never get tired of seeing pics of Liam- he should be a model. He's sooooooooo cute!
  4. omg that's crazy! I can't believe the things some people spend $$ on...
  5. Here's mine: Actually, I have another dress that I bought that she didn't use. It's ivory with little pink roses on the straps. I'll try to remember to post a pic...

  7. Thanks for the info Morgan. I've wondered about Shutterfly books for our families...I always get discount codes from them. Maybe that will be my next experiment.
  8. 1. You are not alone. You are walking in the woods. Who is with you? Jeff & Jared (my brother) 2. You are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal? white horse 3. What interaction takes place between you and the animal? jump on bareback and ride through the woods 4. You walk deeper in the woods. You enter a clearing, and before you is your DREAM house. How big is it? It's a beautiful lake cottage, moderately sized, stone exterior with a gorgeous yard 5. Is your dream house surrounded by a fence? nope 6. You enter the house. You walk into the dining room and see the dining room table. What do you see on AND around it? Jeff, my dad, bro, sil, & niece; Thanksgiving feast with tons of food and candles 7. You exit the house and a cup is on the ground, what kind is it? starbucks 8. What do you do with the cup? crumple it and throw it in the trash 9. You walk to the edge of the property where you find yourself standing at a body of water. How big is the body of water? a large lake 10. How will you cross the water? pontoon boat 1. The person who you are walking in the woods with is the most important person in your life. I would say that's accurate- Jeff is the most important, but my brother and I are really close 2. The size of the animal is representative of your perception of the size of your problems in your life. Yup, I'd say they're often horse-sized! 3. The severity of the interaction you have with the animal is representative of how you deal with your problems. Jump on bareback huh? Interesting! 4. The size of your dream home is representative of the size of your ambition to solve your problems. Moderate- well, that's not too exciting 5. A lack of a fence is indicative of an open personality. People are welcome at all times. The presence of a fence indicates a closed personality. You'd prefer that people not drop by unannounced. No fences, although I usually prefer people call first so I can clean the house! lol 6. If your answer did NOT include food, flowers, or people, then you are generally unhappy. I guess I'm happy 7. The durability of the material with the cup is made of is representative of the perceived durability of your relationships. Disposable? Hmm, not sure about that one...lol 8. What you did with the cup is representative of your attitude. Interesting. Throw it away...I guess that's probably how I handle adversity- get rid of it! 9. The size of the body of water is representative of the size of your sexual desire. Guess I'm average- unlike Jamy who is an endless body of water! lol 10. The way you cross the water is representative to how easy or hard you expect your life to be I guess a pontoon boat is fairly average. Interesting...
  9. I did, just because we wanted out single friends to know they could bring a guest...
  10. Welcome Sarah...I think the Cabo Surf hotel in Cabo where Tasha got married would definitely fit your criteria. Also, Las Caletas in PV, where Ann was married- they've already posted, but I just wanted to reiterate that both of those places would be great for you! Welcome aboard!
  11. Gorgeous dress- I love the deep V. Gonna have to watch the tan lines in that baby! Is this the Lazaro you originally wanted? It's amazing....
  12. I was going to suggest what Laura just suggested- use mailing labels or something to print out cute stickers with your monogram or something on them. I do the the name thing is a little tacky in general, but if you're getting forced into it, at least you could make them match your wedding!
  13. Umm, I think you need to go back to that store TODAY and make them let you take pics in it. C'Mon, you've got nothing else to do, right?
  14. Oohh I love the Maggie dress Courtney! The other one would have to be really great to beat it...can't wait to hear what you decide!
  15. I love hot pink with turquoise, especially on the beach. I also LOVED Natasha's Cabo Surf wedding with all sorts of turquoise, royal blue, teal, and green- gorgeous!
  16. I didn't notice that problem when I printed mine. Did you set your printer to it's highest possible setting? I think I printed mine on "best photo" settings. I don't have the package right in front of me, but I know I just held the iron on it for as long as the package said to.
  17. Anna, it's wonderful to have you here. I've seen your work before and am definitely a fan. I can't wait to see pics of Tammy & Steve! Welcome to BDW!
  18. I've sung the praises of MPIX before...I plan to order my reprints through them.
  19. Aww, that's great that you have so much family support! You're very fortunate. Take advantage of the situation
  20. Do you have people who are going to help you around the house after Jackson is born? I'm sure if you told them how you feel right now you would have some eager volunteers. I know I'm always happy to go help my prego friends out because I know how hard it is.
  21. Nope, you're not alone. I was a two dress bride, and wore my original dress for my TTD session. Even after buying the second dress I still second guessed it, but was happy about it in the end. There were so many other styles I liked better, but this one suited ME the best.
  22. I just realized that I have NO pictures of our placecards at the wedding! That makes me sad. Anyway, I did these really cool candles with everyone's name on them. It's been fun to go to people's houses since the wedding and see that almost everyone has their's sitting out somewhere. In this picture, it's the one on the right. There was one for every person. Ignore the one on the left- we didn't use it. Unfortunately, they looked wayyy cooler actually out on the tables, and the finished product had a different font. But, here's the general idea:
