  1. I do- I have a weight bench at home, and I belong to a gym. I used to lift 3x a week. The problem is that I have one of those body types that really bulks up. I have to be careful not to lift too much. I was doing really well before the wedding. I lost quite a bit of weight, and was working out almost every day. Well, falling off the wagon is never pretty and I've been doing really really bad lately. So, I need to get back in the gym- it does help!
  2. I get around 1080 for extreme weight loss, and it's accurate. That's about all I can eat to lose any weight. I probably only eat around 1500 right now, and I either maintain or gain at that number. My body & metabolism SUCK.
  3. I am neither a photographer, nor do I wear makeup on a regular basis (read: ever), but I bought Mac studio fix foundation & powder for my wedding and I think it looked fabulous. It's not something my skin could handle every day, but I think it looked natural, photogaphed great and was easy to work with. Just my 2 cents.
  4. You look beautiful Drea. I love the close up of you in the second set of photos- last pic. It was fun to see Christa too!
  5. Congratulations Tammy & Steve! Welcome baby Jackson
  6. Congratulations Myles...location is the hardest! Now on to the next exciting decision!

  8. One thing to keep in mind with Shutterly and My Publisher is that if you use their full-bleed page, you can upload a jpg of a pre-made page from your favorite photo-editing software. For instance, I can premake my pages (with whatever borders, backgrounds, etc I want) and just add them into full-bleed pages.
  9. I asked Mariana about doing it, and you're right- she had NO idea what I was talking about. We explained it, but decided against it because if we did it, it would have to be by the little beach bar, and the bonfire there isn't huge. Also, we would have had to pay the $22 per person for the open bar, on top of whatever she was going to charge for the s'mores. I just didn't want to spend that much, when I knew my guests were going to be tired from arriving that day (that was going to be our welcome thing...).

It totally depends on what you're getting for your $1200. Do you have samples or pics?

By the time we charge you even $20 an hour, we'd be up to what you're looking at paying for pro invites. Know what I mean? Probably the cheapest you'd be able to get me to do what I just did for mine would be like $10-12 each.
  15. I definitely would rent a car. Especially if you're planning to go to multiple locations. Cabs in Cabo can get very expensive. When we went to Cabo, we were debating the Riu Palace & Dreams. We were staying at the Riu and planned to make an appointment with the WC while we were there. We already had an appointment with the WC at Dreams. We did drive around and check out a couple other hotels (Sheraton, Westin, Hilton) but really were intent on going the AI route.
  16. Invitations: approx. $4.60 each, sent about 50 STD's: around $8.00 each, send about 75...yup those were expensive
  17. Yay! I think that paper as a bellyband on the brown metallic pocketfolds would be stunning.
  18. Congratulations! That's such great news... Hug him lots, and also send a big BDW thank you for his service to our country (and also to you, for sharing him!). I have so much respect for military men/women and their families. It's such a hard life...
  19. Amy, if you're planning to use this as a belly band I think it would be awesome...definitely a dramatic touch. If you're doing pocketfolds, get the metallic kind and this will go well with the metallic look. By the way, your logo looks lime on my monitor.
  20. Just keep your eyes open...that's what we did. Actually, the night we bought these we were on a mission. But, over the several months leading up to it, we had seen these pieces separately, but never put two and two together. You'll find the right thing eventually.
  21. Those are so great Trisha! Fab job once again Leigh... I still say Shawn takes the cake for best proposal ever.
  22. No, they weren't a set. I AGONIZED over my sand ceremony vessels, and literally found them about a week before we left. I didn't want one of the sets you could buy online, nothing seemed right. Anyway, we got the center vessel at TJ Maxx- they actually had several vases, pitches, carafes etc that would have worked- we liked this one best. Then we got the small vessels at Target. They are actually candle holders.
