  1. Happy birthday Lizzy! I hope you had a wonderful day
  2. I'm so happy for you Christine! Congratulations I just love all our little mommies on this board!
  3. That turned out great Shelley! If it didn't take so long you should sell these on the side...
  4. I'm sooooo excited. I've always wanted to go to Cirque du Soleil, and Jeff got me tickets! We're going tonight to see Saltimbanco at the Breslin Center. I've been working 48-72 hours a week for the past 2-3 months, and Jeff & I hardly ever see eachother, so this is a much-needed date! Just had to share, I can't wait to see the show.
  5. Wow Natalie, your day is finally here. You've been planning forever! Can't wait to hear all about it Congratulations!

That would be cute to add, too. I guess up torwards the airport area. The mountains are everywhere- have you been to Cabo before? You literally fly into a valley between them. It's pretty cool when you go for the first time. You can see them in the distance everywhere. Like the sketch! It's going to look amazing when the artist does it
  7. I'm not sure that there's a particular beach that's the best for riding- I just rode in front of Dreams, but here's the link to the stable where Juan got my horses for my TTD shoot (Edyta too). It's located near Las Ventanas. There are vendors hawking horses pretty much on any beach, but these are nice, well-trained horses. Expensive, but if you're an equestrian, definitely worth the upgrade! Horseback Riding, Los Cabos, Private Trail Rides, Cabo San Lucas
  8. Yes, I'd definitely add the name of the beaches, especially Santa Maria & Chileno since these are both good snorkeling areas, and Chileno is good for swimming- that's where I did my TTD. I'd add a directional arrow to the airport, what about Costco and Mega? Would your guests be interested in those? What about some of the famous bars- Squid Row, Cabo Wabo, The Zoo? The Marina, Pedregal Beach, and the two beaches near el arco- lover's beach and on the other side, divorce beach.
  9. Dear nursery babies, You know I really prefer to do labor when I'm at work, and generally hate postpartum. And, this hatred gets worse the more nights I work in a row. Well, wouldn't you know it? Last night (finishing up 60 hours of my 72 hour week) I got stuck with nursery. Why, oh why then, must you all scream all night long? I've been trying to convince myself that I could actually bear the thought of having children and that I am patient enough to tolerate it, but baby from room 121: you are enough to make me want to schedule an emergency radical hysterectomy to be sure I never procreate! Your mom (who has had you in the nursery 95% of the time since you were born) is in for a RUDE awakening when she takes you home! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

You can select to block sigs, but it blocks the whole thing.
  12. Hey Drea & Christa- rules are rules: If you want those pics to be in the running, they have to be your signature...lol

Your pics will take a really long time because they are such large files. That is normal. I haven't ordered from them in a long time, so I'm not a pro on the process...

  15. I love this idea. I've seen a few of these and I really like your style & background Leigh (although, perhaps I'm biased!). That bride & groom are hilarious- the bride was constantly in the photobooth- too cute! I love "Lovely Day" too, I haven't heard that song in a long time. Excellent job!
  16. Here's a link to the thread about my invites: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...you-think.html
  17. How fun! I can't believe what a big group you all had- this has got to be the biggest BDW get-together so far. I'm so glad you all got to meet! Heidi, I LOVE the pic with you and the giant margarita- looks like you were having a good time. It's great to see you out and with a smile
  18. Welcome Britannia! Belize is gorgeous- I have a friend that just got back- I love her pics!
  19. Welcome Teresa & Ken! We love vendor participation on the forum, as long as you follow the rules:) Some vendors give us moderators a full time job around here lately... I'm at work right now, but I'll be sure to check out your website later. Can't wait to hear more about the kitty that needs Prozac!
  20. Welcome to the forum! Like Ann said- be sure to read the vendor rules! We welcome vendors, as long as they follow the rules
  21. I wore these for my wedding and LOVED them! They were soooo comfortable- I had them on from about 3pm until midnight and my feet didn't hurt at all.

Paper came from Discount Wedding Invitations, Vellum Paper, Vellum Envelopes, Card Stock Source - Paperandmore.com, yes I printed on my home computer 2. How did you cut it so precisely? Very carefully! 3. Where did you get those little metal things that hold it? They are decorative brads from Hobby Lobby. I also used them on my invitations and my menus. 4. Is there nothing attaching the papers together? Do they just fan out and the guests just kinda fan it as big or small however they want it? You got it. 5. Did you just follow how they did it step by step? I saw some cardstock in Michael's that I liked, but I wasn't sure if that's what you used. I used cardstock for the paper, but for the red sheets I used the fiskars embossing tool to texturize the paper. That was the most time-consuming part. 6. And lastly...what font did you use because it is beautiful? Hmm...that display is done using Scriptina (the headings) and I actually don't remember what I did for the main wording(I think it looks like Anglina?). This is actually just my mock-up that I posted. For my real programs I used Allegro and Copper Alt Caps Expert. To all the ladies, how do you get the monigram with the couple's information or initials...I see lots of you have them and I want one too. lol If you let me know what style of monogram you want, along with your names, dates, colors, etc. I can make you one. I'll be interested to see your answers to all of the questions above! I probably spent a couple nights' worth of evenings in front of the tv making them. But, again, the hard part was embossing the red paper- if I hadn't done that they would have been much easier.
