I had to just set things down and walk away several times during my planning... and you know what? Usually when I did that, once I picked it back up again the right thing would just come to me. Take a break, do some non-wedding stuff for a few days and maybe you'll find the right thing. When you do decide to look again, is there something we can help you find? Like do you have a certain style in mind or something we can help you narrow down? Also, my DH was soooo picky during the planning process and kept knocking down ideas I'd had. I got so sick of it that I told him if he wasn't 100% participatory on something then he was not allowed to offer his opinion. He had to sit down and look at invitation ideas with me until we came to a decision or he wasn't allowed to give his opinion. I also stopped asking for his opinion after a while and he was totally happy with what I picked out in the end... men!! lol

Wow- that's unanimous! I know you've already made a decision, but I vote first names too

I agree with Alyssa... I like the winner takes all, or a very small prize for 2nd and 3rd. I just need all the motivation help I can get! Oh, and Ann, I just have to get the camera from Jeff later so I can post my scale pic- I took it last night, but he took the camera today so it will be later. Oh yeah, and there's no way in the world I'm posting how much I weight on here...lol I might do it at the end if I win or lose the 30 pounds I need to lose

Like Jamy, I did a program fan so my guests would have something to keep cool with. They're totally not necessary, and I only had 18 guests, but I still wanted it as a keepsake.

I didn't get married there, but did take some of my engagement pics there- it's beautiful

Hi Leigh! I missed this thread before! I love the new website and the large pictures. I think it really showcases your work well. The pictures took only 2-3 seconds to load, and I have Comcast high speed internet (cable). Can't wait to see the whole thing when it gets done. OK, being super picky here- I liked the softer green on your old/current website a little better than the green on the new website. Of course it's great how it is- just my two cents Hope you're doing well

Congrats on checking one of the "big three" off your list (location, photographer, and dress!). Should be alot of fun- JM will def. keep your wedding interesting!

Dreams did my hair and I thought it turned out fine. I had them do my makeup during my trial and it was HORRIBLE! In retrospect I would have used someone else like Suzanne Morel's salon, but my hair was ok. I ended up doing my own makeup- definitely a good choice.

I wore a white sundress from JCrew that I added a pink belt/sash to... The red beads weren't part of the original ensemble My MIL did a mexican fiesta theme and we had red pepper necklaces..lol
