That's hilarious Christine. You can just see in their eyes how exhausted they are! lol I'll have to check into Petsmart. I've always just boarded at the vet's. That might be cheaper...

Ya know, i always wondered what your name was! lol Glad to know you on a first name basis now

But I have so much more to learn before I start charging people.. This is probably one of my favorite pictures I took of Mijo, it was done about a two weeks ago.. hmm maybe longer. Anyways he gets so sad when DH takes Chulo to the store with him, you can see a little tear in his eye. Just love this picture because it really captures Mijo's personality... So then when you open your pet photo business we can Photoshop together- that's my latest obsession...

Aww Tammy those are so cool! I love that first pic with Cain & Buster- Cain looks so hot in that picture- something about his mouth... lol OK, I'll stop hitting on your husband now Anyway, looks like the family had a great time at the park. How are you doing with Elsie leaving soon?

Reasons I regret asking my sister to be my MOH (LONG vent)
Sarah replied to Maura's topic in Just venting or funnies
I like your plan Maura. She doesn't deserve to be in your wedding. But since you have to keep her there to keep the peace, I totally agree that you should let your friend know she's been upgraded, and not tell your sister. Heck, she's so self-centered she probably won't even read your programs. Then she'll never know... I'm sorry your family is so difficult. We got the same runaround from my FIL's. In the end they were so happy we did a DW. Yours will come around. Probably not until after the wedding, but they will... -
Glenda I think you should take your winnings and buy a new pair of jeans! Or whoever else wins, but I think it's gonna be Glenda. I'll still be in for "next season" but I think whoever wins this one should take the cash

Great cause Yari... I made a small donation. Wish I could do more

Does your guy friend know she's coming? I'd definitely give him a heads up just to be safe...otherwise, I agree with everyone else- they're all adults, it was a couple years ago, they should be ok.

Invitations too early???
Sarah replied to quackquack's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I'd send out STD's. I'm working on a project for someone right now whose wedding isn't until 2009, but she's doing 4-page boarding passes with ALL the info on there so her guests can start booking now. -
I love everyone's doggies/kitties/bunnies... I just caught up on this entire thread. How fun I just realized that although I've looked through this a couple times I've never actually posted. So here's my new fave pic of Loomis. He's a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier. This was taken by Jeff last month in our backyard. I can't believe we had that much snow still!

Good grief Sarah- I haven't caught up with this or your other thread in a couple days... this is ridiculous! I definitely wouldn't go back to this salon. They obviously don't know what they are doing. I have been lightening/darkening/highlighting my dark brown hair for 12 years. I've not had my natural color in that long. I've been to 4 different salons in my 12 years, and have had a few hair "issues". They've always been fixed, and usually it's just because we were going for a color that just wasn't a great idea for someone with dark brown hair. Regardless, they were always fixed to my satisfaction, and twice before I left the salon, twice I had to come back because I didn't decide I hated it until later. I'd hound them nonstop until they refund your money, then take it and go elsewhere...ridiculous.

Hey Glenda- I got your message.... I forgot to call you back I suck... thanks for the encouragement! Mel- what a sweet day after all! Congrats on the promotion, and I'm so jealous- I love Drowning Pool!

Woohoo! I lost 2.2lbs That's HUGE for me to lose 2 pounds in a week....sooo excited It's sooo hard for me to diet with my crazy work schedule, but I've made the following changes: 1. I always eat before I go to work (the equivalent to your breakfast), usually a lean cuisine or some cottage cheese & fruit. 2. I MAKE myself drink my 8 glasses of water. Sometimes I have to go into the break room and just slam 4 at a time, but I get it done. 3. I still eat the junk food I love, but just in small quantities. Diets never work for me because I get frustrated and binge. I'm not really denying myself anything- just eating 1 piece of pizza instead of 4. Eating a mini Snickers instead of a whole one, 100cal bags of popcorn instead of the big ones, etc... 4. I'm actually eating salad now. Yes, Sarah can eat salad...amazing. 5. I try really hard not to snack in between meals, especially at work. I force myself to find time to eat. And if I hit my calorie limit for the day I'm done- so if that happens at 1am, I'm up a creek- so I try to make better choices to make my food last longer. 6. I'm working out- and I actually go in the morning after working a 12 hour shift, or in the afternoon before working. It just doesn't work for me to go on my days off- I'm too tired. I have a workout buddy at work and she keeps me motivated. She's lost like 45 pounds post-baby and looks great so she's a great inspiration. She'll make me do that extra 2 miles on the treadmill when I'm dying! So anyway, that's what I'm doing and apparently it's working. I may not have lost enough to win this, but it's been sooo helpful to me to have the support of all you girls- and the accountability! Knowing Ann knows what I weigh since she's seen me naked really is a motivator too...lol

Technically you could still get invites out in time if you really wanted to. You could have them printed at a local print shop on metallic paper, put them on a heavier metallic paper backing, pop them in an envelope and send them out- simple and elegant and done in a day. That is if you want to go through all that. I'd probably just do a newsletter at this point- you know who is coming, they probably aren't expecting an invitation (did you put anything like "formal invite to follow" or something like that on your STD's?) and you can get more info in a newsletter anyway...

Oh no Sarah! That's awful! I've unfortunately done that at a salon I no longer go to- that sucks. I hope they're fixing it for free...

Sarah replied to Heidi's topic in Destination Weddings in Jamaica
Aww, I love the brother hugging pic... well, ok, I love them all, but that is so sweet. I was the same way- I didn't cry all night...until i danced with my little brother. Then I lost it -
Hey Yari- we won together! Aww, thanks girls.... this is SO HARD every month because there are soooo many great brides (and grooms!). The more great members we get the harder this is. Thanks so much. I'm so happy to still be here (a year after my wedding! yikes!) and able to give back a little. Every single person I was nominated with is always a top member... you're all too sweet. Thanks :blushing:

Welcome home Heidi.... MRS Reggie lol I am so unbelievably happy for you. Like Ann said- you just radiate happiness- and that couldn't be closer to the truth.
