  1. I used brads, not eyelets. I just used a hole punch, and put the brad through.
  2. GET THE VIDEO! I can't tell you how many girls on here I've heard say they regret not having video. I've never heard someone say "Man that video was a stupid idea. I've never watched it and it made me feel stupid". I didn't really ever notice it the day of. You'll be so wrapped up in everything else it won't matter. Just make sure your videographer and photographer get their details worked out, and let your videographer know your photos are your priority (if that's the case) so he's not in the way of your good ceremony shots...
  3. I'm so glad Gwendolyn isn't a wimpy white boy! lol Ann, she's just gorgeous. She looks so much like you She sure is a lucky (and smart) girl to come out when she did. It's so great to have you back with us. We've missed you... give miss Gwen a kiss for me
  4. Wow Erin, you're really brave. i think the end color looks nice...
  5. Ummm yeah- Ann had her baby today, 8 weeks early! That's the most exciting
  6. omg that might be one of the worst things I've ever seen. That's a new low...
  7. Instead of deleting your IMG code for your monogram, just hit enter and paste your code for your pic below it (or above, if that's what you want).

I'll post a pic when i get them from my MOH. So excited! I guess its official now That's great Joy! Can't wait to see the pics...
  9. Nugget has arrived, and is a Nuggette! Gwendolyn Ann arrived at 1:53 am today, weighing in at 5 lbs. She is doing VERY well, especially for her gestational age. I haven't talked to Ann yet in person, but got an email from Paul stating that mom & baby are both doing well. Once I get an update again from Ann we'll know a little more about where they stand in terms of what they need and will keep you up to date. Thanks so much to everyone for your help during this time. It never ceases to amaze me the bond we all have on this forum... it's just the coolest thing...
  10. I use 80lb cardstock. The embossed leaves aren't printed. I do cut them out before I emboss them...
  11. It's basically a fun fad. John Michael Cooper (altf.com the photography of john michael cooper) is credited with being the grandfather of TTD. It was basically just a different photography technique. If nothing else, it's sooooo fun! And, if you're just rolling around on the beach, the dress doesn't really get trashed. Mine was clean. I just rinsed it in the hotel tub.
  12. Welcome back Edna. I'm glad everything went well. I hope your pain is under control. Don't worry about your pictures. I'm sure the scars will fade, but nonetheless, you are gorgeous and will be beautiful!
  13. Hey Rachelle! Your birthday was BURIED in the calendar, and I just happened to notice that it was Saturday. I hope you had a great day with David- just think- this is your last birthday without being a mommy! Happy Birthday!
  14. Morgan, I actually like #5 the best, but #3 is a close second. If you go with #3, I really prefer the un-outlined leaf in the location of #5. Nice work!
  15. I just talked to Ann, and posted an update on the first post of this thread...

I'm really just curious and happy that everyone is pitching in to help. Ann & Paul are looking at potentially having to live in CA for a couple months, based on how Nugget does in the NICU. We're still throwing around ideas of what we want to do to help, but we're hoping to be able to at least be able to perhaps help a little with their living expenses while they are there. Also, Ann & Paul both travel a ton, so they may have FF Miles, or hotel credits at their disposal- Ann & I haven't really talked about that yet. At the very minimum, we will send them a care package, probably some restaurant gift certificates, etc to help while they're there. If you have any other ideas feel free to post them
  19. Thanks so much Christine for organizing this... a donation is on it's way
  20. It was mine... it has an embossed cover. I did them each by hand, although you can buy paper with that same look- much easier! Here's my original post when I was planning my wedding over a year ago: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t3567 I also now make these for people that are DIY-challenged
  21. I am so very sorry at your loss. Losing my dad would be just about the worst thing I can think of... Take all the time you need to grieve and begin to heal. But, just hearing about how your dad was excited about your wedding, I know he would want you to continue on and be happy. There is absolutely no rush. When you are ready, things will fall into place. We'll help I'm truly sorry...
  22. Well I sure hope you're ok, but I'm laughing so hard right now...that's hilarious. What a baby!
  23. Woohoo Carly! I'm so excited for you. Have a wonderful time and soak it all in. Don't stress, everything will be perfect. Good luck!
