  1. We also used wedding window. I think their templates are super easy to use, and they also allow you to buy your own domain name if you want. I think it was $75 for the site for a year, and $15 for the domain name for the year. www.jeffandsarahbarefoot.com

    Hi Cortnie! Happy planning!

An apostille is a certification that is valid for use in a foreign country. Information regarding authentication or legalization of documents, including how to obtain an apostille, is available at http://travel.state.gov/law/notarial...ntication.html Ummmmmm, tell me why I had never heard of this before? Maye is my wedding coordinator, and she is supposed to be taking care of all of the legal paperwork!!!! She never ONCE mentioned this to me. She says it's because it's not required in all states, but um, don't you thikn she should've told me long ago to check I didn't give much thought to all the paperwork because I figured she was handling it (which is why I hired her, right?). But now I'm worried that she's missing things (like the apostille) and all my paperwork won't be in order. I read one site that also said that our birth certificate has to be translated into Spanish Along with all other important documents except for our passports? And the site said that our blood work had to be done in Mexico, and Maye says we need to do it here in the U.S.!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone know anything definitive about anything?? Trying to breathe ... Ylan Ylan- Just wondering what ever happened with the paperwork stuff? How did it all turn out and did you have any trouble?

Yay!!!! Way to go Kash. They say that taking it off slower helps you keep it off better. You're still over the recommended 2 lbs per week, so you're doing awesome! It's also good to hear that you are still losing despite going over your points last week. Are you working out? I've found that I really thrive on seeing that number of "activity points" go up and knowing that I have extra points for the day that I COULD use, but won't. It's so fun to be on this plan with you, I was so excited to hear how your weigh in went today. Tomorrow I have a good bye party for a co-worker, so I'm sure I'll use all my flex points. I'm trying to plan ahead and bring treats that I know exactly how many points they are worth so I can no overdo it. Keep up the awesome progress!
  5. Hi Marci! It is so nice to have you join us
  6. Very pretty Jenetta. I think I like it with the flowers. I like the palm leaf, the rest are kinda hard to see. What kind of frame is it on? Is that satin? You did a great job! By the way, I love the brick in your apartment (or house?). I used to live in an apartment like that and thought it was so cool!
  7. Rebba, I eat meat and eggs, so suggest away!! You girls have so many awesome ideas
  8. Thanks girls! It's so nice to have positive reinforcement...kinda makes it ok to keep going on!
  9. Good luck on your weigh in today Kash- we're rooting for you!
  10. Yay Christa- you are the new lotto queen!
  11. Another great idea...now I just have to decide which of these great ideas I actually have time for!
  12. Wow! Congratulations ahead of time! You've already been given lots of great suggestions by the other brides, let us know if there's anything else we can help out with!
  13. Looks like a l very fun dance night Karla! I might have to steal some of those...
  14. OK girls, I have accomplished a milestone. I am so excited! I just made it through my whole TaoBo Basic Boot Camp DVD this morning. All 54 minutes without "wimping out" or anything. This is the first time I have finished a Tae Bo DVD through the whole workout in probably 4 years! I've done Tae Bo alot, but if I'm getting tired and wimping out I always would quit. Well, today I DID IT!!!! Woohoo! I think I'm going to pass out or have a heart attack, but I DID IT!!!! Sorry, I got a little excited- it's the little victories, you know? Had to use all my happy smilies too
  15. Eww yucky. Good luck at your meeting
  16. That would be sooo awesome Christa! Tammym and I were talking about that this morning. id you see her Deal or no Deal posting? Yup- another game for me to get addicted to...If only I could harness this energy into something productive!
  17. Sounds like a good plan Janet. Although, you never know- you might be creating a monster!
  18. Welcome Betsy You are ambitious to plan a wedding in less than 2 months! At this point, I know that Los Cabos resorts fill up pretty fast, so it might just be a matter of finding a place that has availability. Some nice AI's in Cabo include Dreams, Riu Palace, and Presidente Intercontinental. There are a couple others, but I think these three are the nicest. There are lots of pictures of these places around the forum. I don't know much personally about Riviera Maya. Good luck and let us know if you have more questions!
  19. Thanks for the recipe and diet suggestions Meahgan!
  20. You pick your own colors. Although, it's kinda hard for me to invision what things will look like. I started with two different colors (a celery green and a very light pink) and it looked terrible, so I had her redo. She will redo 2 of them for free, so I ended up paying an extra $9 for the redo of 5. On the website though, there are lots of examples and then a "works in progress" page where you can view what other brides have had her make. I would recommend choosing something you can actually see before having it made- then you know if the colors look good together.
  21. Very interesting. I like this "To ensure food, money and passion in their marriage, the bride sews a yellow, a blue and a red ribbon, respectively, onto her lingerie." Cute idea! Thanks for sharing
  22. Aww, come on- if you run out I'll give you some!

  24. That's cool that you got to do it here- how did you work that out? It must feel nice to check something else off your list! How fun to do stuff together and be a team, like you said. You must be sooo excited, your wedding is so close!
  25. Thanks for finding that Jenetta- it is so pretty. That bride has a lot of cool ideas, actually!
