lol, I've gotta think about this. We'd have to do it like the day before or after because I don't want to change and mess up everything for the reception. Sooo, I guess that depends on how much we want to spend! It sounds like so much fun though...hmmm....I'm definitely gonna think about this one!

Welcome Amy, from another Cabo bride! If you were staying at a resort with a WC, I'd totally say you could do it without an outside one. However, since you're getting married at a villa you might want someone to help you coordinate from so far away. The girls have already given you some great suggestions. Happy planning!

If you have a smaller number (like, less than 50), and it's less than $1000 it seems like a pretty big bang for your buck. The way that I feel about it is that people are spending so much money to come to my wedding that I want to provide a few nice "extras". I think the welcome/rehearsal dinner fits the bill. Another idea, have your in-laws pay for the RD, have your parents do a spa day or something like that for your bridesmaids the following morning, or a post-wedding brunch. Just some ideas...

Hey Kash- the beauty of this forum is, you can pretty much ask what you want and say what you want. If we don't like it or think you're rude, the same applies- we'll tell you! That is such an awesome idea! I have been trying to think of ways to do something special for my stepmother who has been such an important part of my life. This is perfect, and also a great way to recognize Jeff's mom too. OK, I'm already teary just thinking about it!

It depends on the type of shop you are going to. Most (if not all) upscale shops will require an appointment and won't see you without one. Other less pricey stores might let you get away without one. I've always just walked into the "normal" bridal shops I've gone to and had no problem, but this was always during the week...
