  3. Hey Kash Up until last Monday I had lost 4.5 lbs so far. I had a terrible week at work and have pretty much been eating nonstop for the last few days, so I'm dreading the weigh in in the morning. But, then I'm back at it on Monday. For turkey day, I'll just use my extra points that day, probably all on pie- I don't really care about too much turkey!
  4. Wow Wendy- those are so beautiful and you have so many! What a hard decision to narrow down all those great pics. Thanks for sharing and congratulations!

You are right- the Fiesta Americana Condesa does have a beautiful beach. When we were in Cancun last summer we went on an excursion that left at that hotel and we commented that next time we came back to Cancun, we'd like to stay there. It is gorgeous!
  6. Hi Ana- welcome to the forum! Have you chosen a location?

Is this the printer you are referring to in SoCal or is that someone separate?

  10. Welcome to the forum Marcie! Our PV group is getting bigger all the time, but there is so much information for all of us to share no matter what the location. Nice to meet you
  11. Sarah, if you upload your photos to a site like Photobucket, you can resize them easily there. Then just copy/paste the IMG code into the message. THESE ARE GOING TO BE VERY CUTE - they aren't finished yet but I think they are going to be a huge hit. The pictures that we are using in the sample are black and white and we haven't painted the frames yet but this will give you a good idea of what they look like. I am going to try printing the pictures in a sepia tone since the colors of our wedding are a bright/dark pink and orange and I think the sepia tones would work better with those colors. I will post a finish product when I get one done but wanted to share the sample I have now. Hopefully I can get this to work in the morning!

I really like that one too. Sounds like a good plan! I'm off to work now, so I'll order mine tomorrow...

    Newbie here

Welcome Kristie! I'm a Cabo bride, so I can't offer you much help, but there are many others on here that I'm sure will have some great ideas for you. Happy planning!

I know I seriously love my new "senior member" banner! God, I'm such a dork! Yay Kash- you've joined the senior club! LOL, that makes us sound old...hehe
  15. Hey Sarah- this looks so cool doesn't it? I think I want to order the giant magnolia kit (did you notice that was what the bride carried as her bouquet on that know slideshow?) because I'm thinking they would be really cool centerpieces. Also, I want to order the fringe paper kit just because they look so cool. I'm thinking that we may be able to use them as a pattern and just buy the paper to keep making multiples instead of orderig a kit for every centerpiece we need? What are your thoughts?
  16. Welcome to the forum and good luck with your plans! I have a friend that was going to get married at Moon Palace, but decided against it because it was too far away from everything else. That could be positive or negative, depending on how you look at it. Happy planning!
  17. If you're thinking about paper flowers, check this out: http://www.paper-source.com/cgi-bin/...ower_kits.html Here's some kits you can order:
  18. I totally think cute- I am searching right now on the internet to find a paper flower kit like that!
  19. Aww, that's really cute- I'm glad you found a centerpiece project that will work well for you two. I can't wait to see the end result!
  20. Here is the thread with the maps of Cabo: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.co...esort+location How fun! Taking a cruise and scouting locations- I think that's the best plan yet:) Good luck!

So I thought I didn't want my guests to get lost to our ceremony so I'm now going to have our ceremony at the Sheraton on the beach. Don't you just love how you have to exit right to turn left and the crazy turns there? I think we spent the first two days just figuring out how to drive- we passed the Riu Palace twice before we finally figured out how to get to it! It sounds like you covered a lot of ground in the 2 days you were there. I'm sorry your WC meetings didn't all turn out, but it sounds like you got a lot of great info from Maye. Thanks for all the info you shared, I can't wait to hear what you decide for sure. The Sheraton is gorgeous- I've seen nothing but wonderful pics of that place. I'm sure it would be beautiful and much less stressful!
