The monogram turned out beautiful Kate! I love Creative Montage. I have used mine for postcards and our newsletter so far, and will incorporate them into our OOT bags.

I ordered my photobooks through BDW and Tammy, and they came yesterday. For those who might not know, they are our engagement photos taken by Juan Carlos Tapia while on our site visit in September. They turned out awesome (A+)! I ordered myself a large leatherbound album with our names embossed on the front. I ordered our parents and grandma a small black linen album. We were equally happy with both binding options, and honestly if money is an issue, just go for the linen- it looks great. The linen books also have a picture on the cover, where the leather does not. For those that are considering taking on a project like this, realize that you really do get what you pay for. These are very expensive books, but the quality was excellent compared to others I have seen. Also, you can get as detailed or not as you like, but I have over 60 hours into my book when you consider the time it took me to crop the pictures they way I wanted them, layout the pages, upload to the photobook website, re-do the layout of the pages, etc. I know I am very picky, but it would take anyone a much longer time to make this book as opposed to a Kodak or Shutterly book. I used Lumapix Photofusion software (A+) that I paid about $100 for to make my pages. For anyone who wants an easy to use software that is much easier than photoshop, this is the way to go. If you are interested in the type of book I made, feel free to contact me or Tammy (host) for more info. I'd be happy to share more tips and things I had to learn the hard way. I selfishly tend to agree with Edyta too. I haven't gotten mine yet, have to work Friday and Saturday so I won't be able to open with you all (unless I wake up early!). I think with how spread out some of us are and with travel plans, people should just open when they get them. That way, we get to experience the fun every day! Each person can share what they got and who it is from

Great idea Ann- I love the logo idea instead of a picture, I think it's better for formal invitations. I want the picture ones for my Thank-yous though.

I also was debating between the shells or the chairs for ours- great minds think alike!

Jenetta, I love the second dress. I tend to gravitate toward browns and reds anyway and I love the halter with the asymmetrical hemline. Nice finds! Edyta- I like the light colored second dress as well- super cute! I just can't wear that flowy stuff, I need something a little more fitted or I'd go that route

I said "We are going for a "white wedding" look so please plan to wear elegant summer attire in shades of white, cream, or khaki". I put this in my newsletter and website and will put it somewhere on the official invitation packet.

That's great! Thanks for sharing. I'll let you know when I get them. I just ordered right now, so I'm not sure how long they take to come in. I got a mock-up kit and then a couple other designs of folders, with a few color swatches.

I feel a little lost in it right now! I don't like the straps at all, but I think they could easily be skinnied up. I just wanted something with all over lace, and this is actually all over beaded lace so it's very shimmery when I walk. I think after some adjustments it will be exactly what I had in mind. Plus it was 55% off, so hard to pass up!

Ok- wow I really like that...I might copy too. I'm ordering samples now. I'm leaning towards using champagne and silver, but I'm going to get a swatch of the tiffany too.

Christa, was that aqua a custom color they did for you because I don't even see it on their site?
