I think I would like the bags cut down a little shorter and design a little smaller...jmo. They're really cute though Natalie- nice job!

I've always had what I will call "mild" acne- usually 2 or 3 pimples at a time, sometimes less- not always terrible, but never great. I started seeing a dermatologist last fall to clear up my skin before my May wedding. They currently have me on a regimen of washing with an OTC face wash containing salicylic acid, exfoliating 2 (but no more than 3) times per week, topical Retin A every other night, and topical Benzaclin for breakouts. I am also getting a Microderm Abrasion and Anti-Acne facial every 4 weeks. I am extremely pleased with my results. I went from always wearing concealer to hardly ever, because I rarely get a pimple now (maybe like once a week, which feels like NEVER compared to what I used to get) and when I do get one, the medication clears it up in a matter of a couple days. I also had lots of old scarring from previous acne. With the microderm abrasion and peels I have been getting, my scars are so faded they aren't that noticeable to anyone but me now. My FI and coworkers comment on how much better my skin is, which really is a great feeling! I'd start going to a dermatiologist as soon as possible so they can find out what your skin needs. I'd also check out the Obagi that Tammy recommended. My dermatologist didn't want to go that route for me because my skin is soooooooo sensitive (even just my Retin A makes me turn beet red and peel really bad), but Tammy had great results. Let me know if you have any other questions...hope that helps...

I think that's why we can get away with the no makeup, all natural stuff all the time! But, I know he does like it when I get done up- just not "too" done up. I'm not sure what he'll think of the naughty nurse outfit, but it just seems like it would be fun- for me if nothing else!

DO you really? Do you have any pics of it? I'm a 6/8 right now, so it would probably fit! What style is it? I just found these boots too- not too expensive, then I could do the white fishnets and tall boots with it too (Jeff thinks tall boots are sooooo sexy- lol) eBay: WHITE Patent Knee High Platform Heel Exotic Boot 7.5 (item 270081146319 end time Jan-25-07 19:17:20 PST)

I'm thinking about getting an outfit something like this: Sorry, I had to post the link since they won't let me copy the picture... eBay: Sexy Lingerie 3p Naughty Head Nurse Adult Costume NEW (item 170072159918 end time Jan-25-07 12:05:12 PST) I don't have boots like that, so I'd have to find something else to wear...I just think it would be kinda funny since I am a nurse!

I got my Cindy Crawford out of the way today. My legs and arms hurt SO BAD! Yay!

That would be great if you could work it out with Leigh. I thought about false eyelashes too - but honestly, girls - I have no clue! Would any of you feel comfy doing my makeup/eyelashes? If not, I'll probably have to get them done, since I don't know the first thing about putting it in (I have never worn it!). I can always get it done in the morning before the shoot. hehe, thanks Ann- yeah, that might be a little suspicious! I have told Jeff that I'm working on his wedding gift and that it might involve some travel for a day. He's very nosy and having a hard time not bugging me too much about it. I really think that he thinks I'm going somewhere to buy him a boat, or motorcycle or something like that...I hope he's not disappointed- although, I did tell him it's something that I can bring to Cabo to give him there, so I think he's over the motorsports idea- now he thinks it's an expensive watch or something...lol I honestly can try to help you with your makeup, I can do simple, natural makeup, but I was kinda thinking I want something a little more- not "over the top" makeup, but slightly more than I would wear for say, my wedding, or a little more than I wore for my e-pics. I think the best thing for you to do would be to go have someone do a makeover at the makeup counter, then buy what you like and bring it along. I'm sure Leigh & I can help you.
-
I might take you up on that offer Leigh...I'm just thinking of how much time it's going to take me to get ready and then drive there. I was already debating getting a hotel the night before. I'm definitely planning to go to the makeup counter next week (I want to tan a couple times before I go). I used to wear a lot of makeup, but I think my style then and my style now are pretty different! I'll have to experiment with false lashes too- again, it's been a while and they've come a long way since I used to wear them, I'm sure!

I think I like the idea of just the pedestals on either side, kinda like the first picture, just without the arch. The arches are all pretty, so if you go that way it will be fine too. I just for some reason have it in my head that if you're getting married on the beach that less is more, know what I mean?
-
I had it in my head that it was 10, but hopefully I'm wrong- the later the better for me! I'm not a big makeup person either (just normally wear mascara and a little blush) so I think I need to plan a trip to the makeup counter before the 9th! I might be open to the idea of getting my hair and/or makeup done somewhere with you...let me know if you find anything. If now, I'm sure I can handle it...

Hi Alice! Welcome to the forum:) The best place to start is by deciding on the most important aspects of a DW to you and your FI. Do you prefer eastern/western Mexico, Caribbean, etc? Do you want All-inclusive or not? Will you have children at the wedding or not? What is the approx budget for the wedding, and how much do you want your guests to spend? Are all your guests primarily East Coast? Typically airfare is cheaper on the eastern side of Mexico, or the Caribbean. Good luck with your planning, browse around the forum because there is a TON of information on lots of various resorts and locations. Let us know if you have specific questions!

I can't wait to see how yours turns out! -Glenda I'm excited about the white wedding theme. We have decided to do red as an accent color though, so there will be red roses as well... -
Hi Brandy- I'm getting married at Dreams Los Cabos because -I loved their wedding gazebo -I wanted All Inclusive -The on-site coordinator is VERY helpful -There was a ton of information about the resort on the forum, so it seemed easy to me -We wanted a smaller (but not too small) resort, which is why we chose Dreams over the Riu Palace -We fell in love with the resort while on our site visit I am using the on-site coordinator Mariana. They also have another onsite coordinator named Yessica who is newer, but I have heard does a nice job as well. There is TONS of information on here about Dreams. Just do a search, or visit the Cabo forum. If you have any specific questions, let me know!

Glenda, I really want a light beige/champagne color, so probably you can get Jenetta & I the same thing. White is fine as a backup. Thanks! -
