  1. Ann- let me know if you end up making a hair/makeup appt. I might be interested in doing that too. I'm still trying to debate whether or not to spend the night before or come down in the morning. Also having a little freak out about the fact that I still haven't been able to get Thursday night off yet- still trying to find someone to cover- yikes!
  2. Almost did the "tramp stamp" in college- had the design picked out and everything...but chickened out at the last minute (like the day before). Now I'm glad I didn't get it though. I have too many friends that regret their tattoos, I would want it to be something really special. Maybe after I have kids I'll do something really small like a star.
  3. Here are the ones I've made so far. Some I like better than others, but it sure is fun to play around with!
  4. Amy, we've created a monster- this is soooo fun! Post some more of yours- I want to see!
  5. I was inspired by Amy to try making my own monograms, because I obviously must think I have too much time on my hands... Here's my first attempt- this is going to get very addicting
  6. Ummm, yeah- this reminds me that I need to do my invitations! My wedding is in 3 months and I haven't even started yet...Yikes!
  7. Sarah, I think we should throw away the scale! I know I look better, I know I feel better- why can't the dang scale show that too?! I give up...repeat after me: I am gaining muscle weight and losing fat... I am gaining muscle weight and losing fat... I am gaining muscle weight and losing fat...

Janet - yes Charleston is so awesome! That is so cool that your parents have a house here. AI= All Inclusive
  9. OK, girls- who all weighed in today? Time to fess up... Well, the weight certainly isn't shedding the way I want to. I'm down 0.6lbs- still not back to where the scale was before Christmas, and before I started to workout. But, I found my body measurements from last October when I was doing Body for Life. I have lost 7 inches total since then- woohoo! Now I feel better, even if the scale doesn't say so.
  10. We always bring a combination lock to put on our suitcase once we get to the hotel. We also hide things in our locked suitcase like Tammy said- in socks, pockets of clothing, etc. I think if you exercise common sense and caution you should be fine. On a side note about the rings- have you insured your ring? Mine never leaves my hand and for that reason I'm glad I have it insured. I wear it pretty much no matter what we're doing. I was hesitant to wear it so much at first, but FI says he didn't pay that much $$ for the ring to sit in a box- he wants it on my hand.

I'm having the same problem trying to figure out which of mine I like best! I already have some monograms with our names, these ones will be for our OOT bags and other giveaway stuff, that I didn't want our names as the focus on. For yours, I like the bottom one the best.
  12. I'm still searching for the perfect monogram for my OOT bags and stuff. I had Aylee make me a few more. I'd love to hear some opinions, if you want to take a peek... { aylee designs } - Projects » Sarah & Jeff
  13. Cindy Crawford, 45 minutes today. I've been pretty consisitently doing her workout every other day (3-4 times a week) and getting on the elliptical twice a week. I am starting to notice a difference, even though the scale doesn't say so...

I just can't figure out what to do with my white theme, and I want something that really stands out, but not too colorful...

Did you put your velum on the inside of your bag? Hey Natalie, After looking at them again, I think I do like the larger size, I think that would make your design stand out better if they're going to be on the ground or around the pool. If you're putting them on the tables I would definitely go smaller. I put the velum on the outside, cut to the size of the bag. I just centered the printed page on the bag while the bag was in it's unopened state and taped the velum on and cut around the edge of the bag. Does that make sense? I tried the velum on the inside and just didn't like the way it looked as well. Here they are again (mine are small):
  16. I looooove hot pink and turquoise. That was my first choice, but FI is very opinionated and wanted a more "classic" look.
  17. As Glenda said, I'm also doing the "white wedding" thing, but we are incorporating shades of white, champagne, and khaki and will use accents of red. We just enjoy the beauty of our location so much we don't really want to add alot of extra "stuff".
  18. I love the TIffany blue idea Glenda. That has always been a favorite color of mine and I think it's perfect for Cabo. I agree that I wouldn't want to get too carried away with the Tiffany stuff, but I think the Tiffany font with your names and the blue boxes would be cute and not too much. Can't wait to see what you end up doing!
  19. Thanks so much for the very thorough review Jen! I read the whole thing and appreciate your attention to detail. It was great to hear your opinion of LaPaz and Todos Santos as those are places we considered visiting. It sounds like overall a wonderful time, despite a few mishaps- omg the ATV tour must have been scary for all involved! My FI and I own ATV's and know how dangerous they can be- definitely not for the inexperienced! Now I'm off to go look at your pics...thanks again and most of all, congratulations!
  20. Just had my daily physical beating with Cindy. Doing 6lb weights for all the arm work, and making it through all of it- yay!
