All the directions for ordering are on her website- very easy to follow.

Janet, your's sums up my feelings pretty well. I think I'm now leaning toward the trio, where I started in the beginning really wanting a full Mariachi band.
  3. Cindy workout #1- the one I do when I'm feeling wimpy.

This pictures was taken right after the ceremony its the mariachi walking with everyone down town in San Jose from the church to the venue place, people liked it a lot! Thanks for the info- I didn't know this!
  5. We are paying for my brother, SIL, and niece's airfare and accomodations, and my mom & dad's airfare. Added to our accomodations, we are spending almost $12k on travel alone. We're hoping to come in somewhere around $16-18000 total, not including rings or dress.
  6. We have decided that we definitely want to hire either a Mariachi or Trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour. The problem is, we can't decide which to hire! We are only having 18 guests, plus us, so I'm a little worried that the Mariachi band would be overwhelming. Or, is the mariachi band so much better than the trio that we should get them anyway? I have been quoted a price from Mariachi Los Cabos for $450/hr for the Mariachi Band and $350 per hour for the Trio. We plan to have them play for the ceremony and cocktail hour. What do you think?

  8. Welcome Amanda- it's great to have another Michigan girl. I've never been to Jamaica so I don't have alot of suggestions for you, but there is a ton of information on this forum, so let us know how we can help!

Cinematic & Elegant Productions International Award Winning Wedding Videographer AMAZING!! omg Jill, if I could afford videography like that I would totally do it! His work is amazing:)
  10. Christine, I love the centerpieces. The grapes are perfect for your Napa theme and will help cut costs. I love the monogram candle too. I would check out Hobby Lobby for charger platters. I just bought nice silver ones for $1.87 each.
  11. We've been to both and like both. We really picked Cabo because I fell in love with Dreams in Cabo. I also liked the fact that Cabo gets less rain, because that was something that really scared me about a DW, since we wanted to be outside. Cancun also has more of a party atmosphere, whereas Cabo (at least on the corridor- CSL is another story!!) is a little quieter.

I'll get it done- I'm just working so much overtime right now to pay for the darn wedding that I don't have much time for anything else. It also doesn't help that if I'm not at work I'm on here so I for some reason can't get anything done! hehe, no worries:) I refuse to be stressed because that is why I wanted a DW- less pressure!
  13. Don't feel bad Jessalyn, I have NOTHING done- haven't decided on table decor, don't have OOT bags done, and I have a bazillion things on my to-do list with about 95 days until the wedding. Oh well, I'll get it done one way or another...
  14. OK Sarah, aka Martha Stewart- your tables look totally awesome! I love the black and pink together and the candle holders are so pretty, I know things don't always photograph well, but I can tell this is going to look really nice! Great job
  15. Thank you sooo much for sharing Sarah! This is totally what I was planning to do, and it is so nice to see how someone else has already done it! Thanks!
  16. 45 minutes of Cardio yesterday, but no Cindy since Friday- yikes! Back to the hard core routine tomorrow!

I have pulled info from all over the web, so if I took any of your ideas, wording, or whatever ~ Thanks in advance, and I hope it was OK. The newsletter was done in Publisher. It's too small, I can't read it Do you think you can upload again a little bigger?
  18. Sarah those looks awesome! I also wanted to do the black- so if you have any hints I'd love to hear them. I also would like to know what kind of paper you used and did you just use your home printer?
  19. Wow Natasha- I'll echo every one else's thoughts on your dress and waist- wow! Back to topic: I have two dresses. The first dress I decided wasn't formal enough and the dress I bought to replace it. I am planning a "trash the dress" photo session for the day after the wedding, but since my original dress is so much less formal (read: lighter and cooler!) it may replace my formal dress at the reception. I want to keep my formal dress on as long as possible though.
  20. rofl! That's too funny...yup- reason #576 why you should wear some sort of underwear...
  21. I think I can probably handle my hair- I don't really want anything that elaborate. The only concern I have about makeup is that Leigh said something about makeup artists taking a really long time and I don't know if time will allow for all of us to do our makeup there. I guess Ann that you should at least make your appointment and then if Leigh thinks we can swing bringing someone in for makeup we can go ahead with it. Otherwise, I was thinking about going to the MAC counter this weekend and getting some suggestions. I don't know who the other girl is, or if there even is still someone else...
