They're not going to be able to help with your hives since that's a histamine reaction to stress, allergens, etc. You could try to head it off by taking some prophylactic Benadryl before you think you're going to start feeling nervous...it's histamine blocker. Or you could talk to your doctor and they might be able to prescribe something a little more heavy-duty.

I NEVER liked having my picture taken until Juan did our e-pics and I discovered that someone with some talent can make you look really good. Now I just like seeing myself look different and much better than I see myself everyday. Is that weird? Is that vain? Do I need therapy? lol

I just love the song that's with it Leigh. Norah Jones is so sexy! Last night a bunch of nurses I work with pretty much tied me down and made me show them my pics- ALL of them. They were like- um, yeah- we're delivery nurses and you don't have anything we don't see a hundred times a day- show us NOW! Now they all want to go do a Bpic session with Leigh. You never know Leigh- now you might have to do a photo shoot with 10 naughty nurses! Now, as long as I don't get fired for having those pics on at work then I'll be fine...

Do you like this outfit?
Sarah replied to TammyB's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Honest opinion: Super cute outfit, not sure if I would find it exciting enough for my wedding weekend, but if it works for you that's all that matters! -
I LOVE them! I'm so happy I decided to do this- I know Jeff will be shocked and amazed! But, seriously girls- if you're thinking about it definitely go for it. I'll be able to post some of mine because I'm buying the digital images to make my own album. But, Leigh asked if she could post a few on here & I told her yes, so she will probably beat me to it!

I was trying to think of other ideas, like making one for me that said "bride" and one for my mom and his mom...He thinks I'm crazy! By the way Ann- did you get your pics? -
Rehearsal/Welcome Dinner Dress
Sarah replied to A10CalGal's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I actually got it at Cache in the mall- originally $280, got it on clearance for $90. I don't know what shoes to wear with it. I'm sure I won't wear those ones though, they were just the closest by when I put the dress on. I'd like to find a cute silver strappy sandal. -

I love the idea of doing the flowergirl bag. I agree that I'm not 100% sure on the font, but the idea is perfect! -

So if you don't figure in time, or what I paid for the monogram, about $2 each. I used my Lumapix Photofusion software to add my names onto the corner of the monogram Aylee made- talk about a HUGE PITA! Definitely have Aylee just make your monogram the way you want it the first time around...Jeff decided at the last minute he wanted our names on there. -

It was 50's at night.

Paper or Canvas Bags?
Sarah replied to MrsWtobe's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
We also are doing canvas bags. I was worried about doing something with our names on it, but FI insisted he wanted them on there somewhere! So, we compromised and put our names on them really small, so people could still use them again if they wanted to- but people definitely know they are for the wedding. -

Jill- this sounds like a great find! Natalie, I love those dresses- so cute, and I love the Cashmere color too:) I don't think I ever posted that I did make a final decision on my BM dresses- you all voted on them a couple months ago. -

Rehearsal/Welcome Dinner Dress
Sarah replied to A10CalGal's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I think I finally found a Welcome Dress that I love! I've bought two so far that I've been unhappy about for one reason or another, but I think this one's a keeper! Please ignore the hair- I didn't feel like dealing with it today, lol, but I think with my hair and makeup done it'll look better. Tell me what you think girls...honest opinions only please:) -

Christine & Natalie- Love the dresses! Christine I think I prefer the grayish one. Natalie, I definitely agree with you that having something to fill that dress out will make it look much better than it does on the model! -
My Ridiculously Long Cabo/Dreams Site Review

Yes, i forgot to put that in here- I knew someone had asked me about roses! They had bouquets of 18 roses at Costco for $16USD, but I wonder about how accurate the prices were because it was Valentines day, you know what I mean? I wonder if they are normally cheaper. Mega did not have any flowers at all, and they also didn't have flowers last time we were there. I would assume then that Mega does not carry, or at least is not a reliable source for flowers. Costco had the roses for $16 and the quality was what I would call OK. Not great, but ok for maybe table decor, or using the petals. Not something I would want my bouquet made out of. Putted tulips were $23 and the quality was poor. They also had a selection of some misc. bouquets that might be cute centerpieces if you had a bright theme, because they had a variety of flowers mixed together including Gerbers, Calas, Bird of Paradise, Carnations, etc. We decided that we would just try to have Dreams arrange for our drowned rose centerpieces, our floral arrangements at the Gazebo, my bouquet, Jeff's bout and the petals for the aisle and tables. If we decide we need flowers for anything else, we will go to Costco. -
Chileno Beach - Our "Trash The Dress" Location

We asked Juan if he could think of somewhere cool to go for our trash the dress session that would actually be calm enough water to accomplish this type of photo shoot in Cabo! He recommended Chileno Beach, which is at approx. Km. 14 on the tourist corridor, literally right around the corner from Dreams. We went to check it out this week and here are some pics we got. Looks like a great place... Jeff thinks he's practicing to be Juan...
