Yay Nicole! We were working on the same stuff today:) Today I made all the luggage tags (54) and finished all the OOT bags (10 iron ons). I also started working on the wording for the invites, and the pocketfolders should be here in a couple days so I can get them out in the mail. Now I'm brainstorming what to put on my program fans, timeline card, menus, and white fans. I'm finally getting to the fun stuff! I ordered a ream of red metallic paper, champagne metallic paper, and platinum vellum last week and I'm just going crazy with it! lol

I'm going to be sending a long welcome letter with detailed info on transportation, entertainment, navigating the airport and to the hotel, so I will mail it all in a manilla envelope that I'm sure I'll decorate up somehow...

Thanks for the great review Amy- I'm sure this will really help PV brides. I'm glad you settled on a place, the Mayan looks like lots of fun. I enjoyed your slideshow- the bar looks awesome! The jetty where the wedding will be is beautiful too...

I did spray tan once too, a couple years ago. I thought it looked great- not orange at all. I did the one where they actually airbrush you though, not the misting machine.

Aww, thanks girls. I forgot to add that I'm going to be sending these out with my welcome letters about 2 weeks before the wedding. I'm sending three tags per person, which will be enough for 2 pieces of luggage and a carryon- I figured that was probably an average amount of luggage, don't you think? I also have to give credit to Aylee for the monogram...

I know- I thought it was alot too, until she showed me where she usually puts them. She says they look the best about 3-4 feet apart. There are two palm trees with sand around them, and I'll need about 12 for each of those. Then, I want to go around the pool at Oceana Terrace on the end that we will be on. That will take about 30-40 or so. I also want them on the walkway to the hotel leaving the Oceana Terrace, and the stone ledge around the terrace. I think 80 will be a minimum for me to achieve the desired effect.

Yay! After much searching and trial and error, I finally came up with a solution to my luggage tag issues! I had such a hard time finding something that looked nice without being unreasonably expensive. I tried the clear luggage tags from Oriental Trading (like $4.99 for 10), but they are hard plastic, came already scratched up, and didn't seem like they'd stay together well. Then I tried laminating business card sized cardstock- just didn't work well. I finally ended up buying clear vertical badge holders from OfficeMax for $4.59 for 12, which was a good price for anything clear and with a pocket of any sort, compared to what I've found. They are 3 1/4 in by 2 1/2 in. I used two layers of cardstock, one for the backing (metallic red), and one to affix the label to. I used the clear Avery labels that are 2x4 (also using these for my luminarias), the price was $22.00 for 250 labels. I cut them down to size and affixed the clear printed label to the metallic champage card stock. I'm really happy with the results! The names are printed in all black. I just covered my last name and address for privacy! lol

Melissa, I also am doing the plain white fans. I actually prefer that look to the straw fans, just my personal opinion. I am doing the program fans from the DIY section on Aylee's website for the ceremony, and then putting the white fans with a Thank you message with our monogram on each place setting. I'm not doing favors because we're already doing so much in our OOT bags.

I think the Cindy workout is awesome for legs. I've seen a huge difference in mine since I started. Ann does the Cindy workout too- I'm sure it's contributed to her smokin legs too!

Cindy Crawford Shape Your Body. You do use hand weights and I think you're supposed to do it every day. If you want to see more pics, I'll PM you a couple when I get my DVD from Leigh. I just don't want them posted here so people can copy them...know what i mean?

Yes, when I do actually work out! I've been soooooooo bad lately. I'm actually going to sign off now and go do it! btw...my friends at work who are doing the Cindy video too all couldn't believe how good my legs looked in some of my b-pics (none that you guys got to see, sorry) compared to how they used to be. Not like Ann's of course, but waayyyy better for me!

I've been in contact with Mariachi Los Cabos International Jose has been fairly responsive by email (by Mexican standards anyway!) and I am getting the Trio for 2 hours at $350 per hour. He also quoted me $450 an hour for the Mariachi band and a special price of $800 for two hours. I'm still trying to negotiate for $600 for two hours for the trio, we'll see- I'll let you know! ROFLMAO Tammy, you will not believe what photographers can do with a little photoshop! In my b-pics, I had about a 4 inch diameter black bruise on one knee and the hugest zit ever on my chin. Seriously, I think it was all the breakouts I haven't been having that saved up into one and decided to torture me on the one day I'm trying to be my sexiest ever...Leigh got rid of all of that, as you can see in the pics. I've been doing peels and microderm abrasions and have noticed great improvement in my skin. They'll talk to you about what you want, what timeframe you have and develop a plan. Relax....deep breaths.....it will be ok, you are gorgeous anyway and between the Derm Doc, your relaxing and Juan's amazing work you will look smokin'!

Ooooh let him wear it! I love kilts and think it would be such a fun contrast to see a kilt in Mexico! lol
