Lindsay's Las Caletas Wedding Pics!
Sarah replied to TA Lindsay's topic in Puerto Vallarta Accommodations & Site
Congratulations Lindsay! Everything looks like it turned out beautifully! Thanks for sharing... -
We went to Cabo for our first site visit last fall from Sept 15-22nd. We arrived as hurricane John was nearing Mexico. The hotels were boarded up and flights were being cancelled. After being there during a hurricane threat I can't imagine planning my wedding during that time. There is so much stress involved in planning a wedding, to add the chance of really bad weather just seems like you're asking for trouble. Would something bad happen? Chances are probably not too bad- but who knows? Can you imagine bringing your guests down to Cabo for a hurricane? We were pretty scared and nothing even happened- it just looked scary because of the dark sky, the HUGE waves, the way the hotels and everyone was bracing for the hurricane. You can do whatever you want- it's your wedding, but in my opinion I would totally go for an earlier or later date. If your family doesn't like the heat, maybe Cabo isn't the place to go- it's always hot! Except when we were just down there in Feb- it was 70's and breezy, very nice! I hope I didn't upset you, I'm just being honest and sharing my opinion.

Hang in there Christa. Things will work themselves out. I'm glad you got a massage last night- are you feeling any better? I know we all will be in your shoes in a couple months. Heck, I just checked out my website and saw that i have 64 days left until the wedding. Holy crap I just about had a panic attack! Anyway, I'm sorry you are running into stress everywhere you turn. It sounds like you're already deep breathing, so just keep doing that- tell yourself it will all work out, and look forward to that margie on the beach in two weeks! Hang in there girlfriend, everything will be perfect- you've spent months planning and organizing- it will all come together. We're here for you too...

Thanks for sharing Jill! It's great to see Lenita since I feel like we're old friends now after doing b-pics together! It's amazing how being half-naked in front of someone does that to you...lol Anyway, she is gorgeous as usual, and you got some great shots! I love her pink dress. Can't wait for the wedding pics, and hurry back to share them with us!

Fun test- here are my results: Snapshot Report Security 87% Your test results show that have a high level of confidence in your relationship. You seem to realize that every couple occasionally faces hard times, but your sense of security will guide you through. It seems as though you and your partner have reached a level of intimacy and closeness that allows you to truly be there to support and respect each other. Your relationship is generally solid and secure, providing a foundation of strength that keeps you both from cracking under pressure. You know that you are able to survive moments of tension or conflict, and come out of it together. This is a very healthy attitude to have, and one that will likely allow your relationship to reach new heights!

It sounds like everything went great Sarah. I'm so happy you got everything settled with your OOT bag tubs and decor. I wish I would have done that too! Oh well, I'll just be packing and bringing it along later...along with 2 wedding dresses and a suit and 10 days worth of clothes OMG! Did I mention I think you're smart? lol

He just sent me another email last week about something else and again told me to tell my FI to not get a tan... we thought it was funny but I also want to be careful since I'm sure Juan is right. I feel so much better when I'm tan too!! but I'm actually going to be careful before the wedding and try not to have too much color just a little to look healthier (and thinner!) Hmm...interesting. My FI and I tanned for a month before our e-pics last fall with Juan. He never said anything about it. Do you think our pics looked weird? I'll have to look again!

She has really nice designs, and a fast turnaround. I've gotten alot of my DIY projects (timeline and program fans, in addition to DIY monograms) from her website. She's great! Thanks for all the nice comments girls. Seriously, these aren't hard at all. Neither is anything I've made for that matter. Just sometimes time consuming. If anyone needs detailed directions, just PM me. These were super easy... -

But luckily my friend's husband is a jeweler and he told me he could get me good discounts on expensive men's watches. Like he told me he could get me a $18,000 rolex for $3,000 b/c he is a diamond distributor and so he only pays wholesale price and not retail. If you want me to ask for anything specific for you PM me and I will found out what kind of a price he can get. -Glenda Holy crap! lol, thanks Christa! Actually, I often dream of what I will do when I get sick of being an RN (this is everyday, lol). I think marketing would be tons of fun. Maybe there's a niche somewhere for a marketing nurse? lol -

Yes, I have 300 piece of metallic cardstock and vellum laying around my house now. I think my printer will break before I can do everything I want to do! lol Jeff says I should write a book, or do something with all this miscellaneous creativity. Although, the sad thing is that nothing is an original idea. It's just all stuff I've copied and made my own along the way. DIY intervention- not until after the wedding, please! I have too much to do! lol -

I had the Boudoir pics done that I will have presented to him the night before (we're not staying together that night). I also want to get him a nice watch. Although I bought him a Movado last year, not sure what I can afford that would top that! Maybe a Tag? I'm not sure yet. He knows I already got him something since I had to come up with some excuse about why I went to Chicago, but I feel like he might feel ripped off if he doesn't get something more than pictures! lol, I don't know why I feel that way because I'm sure he'll love them, I guess it's just me. OK, that was a lot of rambling- sorry! I think this was a "thinking out loud" post!
