Hi everyone I am also really late to this conversation but I woul also like to say a few things... My entire life I have struggles with my weight, I have a super slow metabolism and I can gain upto 5lbs in one week so I have to be very careful with what I eat... I hate to exercise as most of the ladies on here so I do a lot of walking. I walk everywhere (obviously depends on the amount of time you have) but I try and avoid taking my car as much as possible. We have a great subway (transit) system here in Toronto so I try and get off a couple stops before I need to and I walk the rest of the way... Sarah I can guarantee that if you start walking more you will see a difference for more fun attach 1 or 2lbs weights to your ankles, you will sweat more and burn more fat. Try walking to the store and avoid those silly elevators, yo're a nurse so in your hospital try using the stairs as much as you can. Now to the food part....DONT EAT AFTER 7PM!!!!!!!!! that is a huge thing, your body does not have enough time to burn off a large dinner and if you go straight to bed it just stores all that fat....also try eating 5 small meals a day that way you're never hungry. People always laugh at me cause i'm always eating but if you'r constantly snacking you will never get to that point where you binge. Eat what you want even those sweets, mmmmm doughnuts and chocolate Mmmmmm just try to eat them early in the day and within reason, and you have to allow for one cheat day!! Goodluck, I know how hard it is but you can do it if your 100% committed and dont get on that scale. Try buying a pair of jeans that are a size smaller than whet you currently are at. I have a pair of fat and skinny jeans, if I can no longer fit into my skinny jeans than I know I have to change my eating habits. That is what motivates me to stay healthy my SKINNY JEANS

If you're at the resort on May 3rd you should definately come to the wedding:)...I haven't really decided on decor yet, but am just looking into getting one long table since I only have about 20 guests coming and I want all roses...but I am totally up for using eachothers stuff...keep in touch and let me know how ur plans are going

Sarah, I was thinking that maybe a mermaid style would look great on you, I those dresses always make you look taller. Im gathering some pics for you, love looking for dresses so hope you dont mind. I'm also so excited cause Im sure I will bump into you at the resort... maybe I can get a little look my friend just got married and she is 5'2 and wore a mermaid style Melissa Sweet dress and it looked fabulous...dont know what your budget is but you should look into her dresses they are beautiful

There is a Catholic church in San Jose just 15min drive from Cabo that has an english speaking preist, also there is one in Cabo but I believe the ceremony is performed in Spanish (I could be wrong on this). Also some of the resorts have a chapel onsite, there is a beautiful one at the resort One and Only Pamilla. Check ot my website I have a pic of the church in San Jose

It was actually a very difficult time for me with booking, the biggest stress ever!!! Im from Toronto my FI is from Calgary so to find places that flights leaving from T.O and Cal the same days was so hard.... So Cabo worked out for us. I booked through selloffvacations.com I usually book my vactions with flightcenter but this time they weren't 2 helpful. i also went to thomas cook travel and they never even got back to me. I have approx. 20 people going and found selloff had the best prices...give redtag a try their also pretty good

Hi again, Im also from Toronto:) Ie actually stayed at the Sunscape Beach 2 years ago and stayed at the Bavaro Princess 1 month ago so I can comment on both places. Sunscape I went to when it first opened so the service wasn't 2 great but Im sur its better now. The resort overall is beautiful and has an amazing beach. The bavaro princess is a HUGE!!! resort it has a natural rainforest on the property but were talking like 96 acers. The restaurants we went to were great but the hotel overall I found to be just average. I wouldn't reccommend the Bahia for weddings its more of a party place, also a very big resort. But I guess depends what your looking for. Riu properties I find to be beautiful, have stayed in the DR and Jamaica and Bahamas (but dont stay at the one in bahamas, its old lol) I walked by the Riu Palace Punta Cana, its a brand new resort it looks beautiful but can't comment on the facilities there. My fav were the Majestic and Palma real their more luxurious and low key but also more expensive. HOpe this helps a bit:)

Hi there I was originally supposed to be getting married in Punta Cana but found that they work 2 slow there and it was hard to get alot of information on weddings. I've been to punta cana many times and have seen a lot of the resorts so if you need any advice please ask. I was orginally looking at the Majestic Colonial (which I have a contact for at that resort if you need it) and the Paradisus Palma Real. But changed my plans and now Im getting married in Los Cabos at dreams resort. Good Luck with all the planning and if you need any help ask away

Hi Everyone this is my engagement story.... Every Christmas my parents and I go somewhere tropical it's been a tradition of ours for about 14 years now. 3 years ago we went to Cancun, I really didn't want to go, wasn't looking forward to the trip at all but decided to go ayways. I was walking through the lobey of the hotel one afternoon and saw this cute guy sitting at the bar but he didn't even notice me I thought he was a total snob lol (its ok cause I had a boyfried at the time, just thought he was cute nothing wrong with that right?) Anyways..... One night a bunch of people from the hotel ended going to the clubs downtown and there was the cute guy again. We started talking and talking and talking which ended up lasting the entire night, we walked back to our hotel (2 hour walk or so just talking) I thought he was the most amazing person I ever met but I had a boyfriend and he was from Calgary and I was from Toronto so I thought I would never see him again. We exchanged phone numbers and emails and talked once in awhile after we got back home. A few months down the road I broke up with my ex and I started talking to (by the way his name is Terry). We ended up hooking up and decided to try the long distance thing (super hard). Everything going amazing!!! December 2005 we ended up going back to Cancun and on New years eve Terry asked me to marry him So Mexico is very special to us, we met in mexico got engaged in mexico and now were getting married in mexico!!!
