that is awful..I'm so sorry that someone would be so cruel to you on your wedding day...I totally think you should spill something on the dress if she decides to wear it (but on second thought you might not want to cause who knows what she will do in return)

W O W ! ! ! I am absolutely speechless..really that was the best wedding video I have ever seen..it's amazing what a great memory to have for the rest of your life..everytime I see wedding videos it makes me cry and it's my biggest regret that I didn't get one done Seriously I was in tears I thought like I was watching an episode of the Hills (hope that doesn't offend you) but just the way a reality show is put together that's what it reminded me...YOu guys looked stunning, I loved your hair and dress everything was perfect!!! Please let us know when you have more I'd love to see the final product

This is a great thread especially since 50%of guests usually don't even bring a gift. Which I find extremely rude, if you can't afford to give a gift atleast give a card (sorry this is one of my pet peeves..is it that hard to buy a card?) I've been brought up to always cover your plate and we always give money. I also love giving fine china depending on how close I am to the person. Just because my parents got a full dinner set that was hand made by one of their guests and they still use it to this day and I find something like that to be priceless and it's also something that you can pass down from generation to generation.

I just got back from Riu Ocho Rios a couple days ago and my husband and I were very dissapointed in the beach there...we love long beaches cause we walk a lot and the beach at riu is about a 5 minute walk each way. The sand and water was nice but like someone mentined there is a bit of seeweed and it floats in doesn't grow in the ground. I've also been to Riu Negril and the beach is longer there and you can walk for miles but it is very narrow and the sand and water dont compare to riu ocho rios. My husband and I are HUGE beach people, we usually go to the places that have beautiful beaches so for us Jamaica doesn't compare to Punta Cana...sorry hope I'm not making it difficult for you but that's just my opinion and I guess everyones idea of a great beach is different...so depends what you are looking for here are a few pics of the beach from Riu Ocho Rios also on a side note my biggest pet peeve about RIU ocho rios was the amount of people harassing you on the beach to buy drugs, everytime we would go for a walk my husband would get swarmed Wow sorry that turned out to be a very negative post but the room had a great Ocean View and the pools were GREAT there

The dress is beautiful, I love it!...It's so perfect for a destination wedding:) I just noticed you're getting married at Dreams Punta Cana..I stayed there before it was Dreams it used to be owned by Sunscape..the resort itself is stunning!!! Welcome to the forum Dominica!! sorry that this decision is causig you so much stress but usually after you pick the location it all gets easier..I wish I could advise on one of those places but unfortunately I haven't been to either one. There is tons of info on Cabo and Cancun here with them being the two most desired spots to get married for the girls on the forum..so you're definately in the right place. I got married at Dreams Los Cabos..the hotel is so beautiful!! That's my recommendation..HAPPY PLANNING!!

Welcome to the forum!!! The grand riviera princess is beautiful! the hotel is HUGE though don't know if that's a positive or a negative for you...when I stayed there when it first opened (which was only one day long story) they hadso many complications with the rooms and the hotel not being finished so hopefully they have resolved all their issues...but the hotel is stunning and the pools are amazing..the food was the best I've ever had at an all-inclusive
