  1. I drink some from the tea bags and Lipton Diet Green Tea I get from Costco. It has many anti-oxidents, its suppose to be good for you, i drink one everyday, sometimes more.
  2. I am so bad I took Friday off because I got hurt at work. Then I was busy at a wedding shower and party Saturday night, so no gym. Then Sunday I was so hung over from Saturday that I could not even finish cleaning my house!! I guess I had too much fun Saturday, I can't remember the last time I drank so much. But today I got back on the ball with 50 minutes cardio and I finally finished my leg workout from Thursday.
  3. Kate- Let us know how you like the DVD, I saw that in the mag and was wondering how it was. I did 60 minutes cardio last night and some legs. I got a late start so I have to finish up legs tonight too.
  4. Kate- It is like a little reward to post huh? Well I went to the gym yesterday morning and I did chest and cardio for 45 minutes. The chest area is very sore today.
  5. So I am with you girls ont his one. Didn't think I wanted a veil but after I tried it on I loved it. It goes perfect with all the lace on my dress. One of my BM's is making my veil and I am so excited. Her mother just made her veil for her wedding in January and it was beautiful. Here is a pic of what it will look like...
  6. Lets see I worked out Friday I did abs and 60 minutes of cardio. I had a super crappy day at work and that is all I felt like doing. I took Saturday off and did 60 minutes of cardio on Sunday.
  7. We are having an AHR but its more of a party than anything. And its also an excuse to wear my wedding dress again. We are having a DJ too and no cake either just desserts. We are going to have a slide show made from the pics in Mexico and are probably going to hand out something "Mexico" inspired. Maybe maracas or something? For the centerpieces we are doing flowers (dont know which kind) with limes on the bottom like what we are doing for Mexico and then every other table I have a little project in mind, but nothing set in stone. I will have to post a pic of my idea that I took from his dads 60th bday party.
  8. I am so excited to hear a great review about Edith's! I just made reservations for our RD in October, they were very quick at responding to emails. I am getting so excited, I don't know if I can wait 5 more months!!

  10. So Kevin and I are going to take some salsa type lessons in a few months since we are getting married in Mexico. He thought it would be fun but nothing over the top, just to go with the Mexico theme. Besides he says he moves pretty good for a big guy and wants to boogy!
  11. I was using Retin-A for a while but like someone said before it makes your skin so dry! Now I only use it every now and then. I started to get facials, microderm, and using Epicuren last month. I have noticed a great change in my overall skin tone and it is helping with my hyperpigmentation. The bad thing about having dark skin is when I break out (which is not too often), it turns dark and it drives me freakin crazy!
  12. Thanks Jilly. Now that my FI shift changed (2pm-10pm) it makes it eaiser to go to the gym after work cause there is no one home to hang out with so I just hit the gym. Last night I did lats and cardio 20 on stairmaster and 30 minutes on the treadmill.
  13. Monday I did shoulders and cardio. Since I am going to the gym 4-5 days a week now, my FI has me doing one movement per day. Which by the way is killing me!! I skipped last night cause some friends and I went to a red wine class. It was so much fun.
  14. That is funny Sarah. Believe me Kevin was hard to motivate at first. But then he just felt guilty when I would come home and I would say what a good work out I had. I bought him two shirts online from this place he likes in SF, but I am holding them hostage til the end of this week. I told him no working out, no shirts! I went to the gym tonight before I came to work tonight. I did legs and cardio for 50 minutes. I am working OT til 7pm-7am! I work day shift so this should be a struggle, but hey I need to buy more things for the wedding!
  15. I am not paying for the dresses, but I am buying cute sandals to go with it and their jewlery.
  16. I am also wearing my dress again for the AHR so no trash the dress for me. Although I might get a dress to trash for our day after pics, I havent decided yet.

  18. Thats great Sarah! I think I now offically motivated my FI. When we met we both worked out 5 days a week solid and it has been a struggle to get back into that routine. He says its just happiness that made us gain weight. I told Kevin if he works out 4 days a week that every two weeks I will get him a little treat! So far so good, its our fourth day working out together
  19. When I got engaged I started buying mags but my first real wedding item was our save the dates.
  20. Ok Sarah I feel better now. I did an hour of weights at the gym and another hour of cardio!
  21. Holy sh** Sarah you are awesome. You just inspired me to work my a** off today at the gym!
