Stephanie- We are getting married @ PB Sunset Beach. We did get a wedding planner though. I had heard that the lady @ PB Sunset Beach is responsible for weddings and a host of other things. Another girl i met through theknot said it was tough trying to get in touch with her so she hired a wedding planner and then everything went smoothly after that. Actually that girl is getting married next month, she is going to let me know how things turn out. I chose PB Sunset Beach because two of my co-workers have timeshares there and said great things about the resort and La Nao where the reception is going to be.

My thoughts exactly, I think they would all come to the wedding. Most of them are near retirement or are retired so they go on vacations all the time. My FI said he doesn't want his aunts to go just because they want to go on vacation. Thats the good thing about him, he says its our wedding and bottom line is we will invite who we want. Besides we both feel its not fair to my father who is paying for wedding.

Hi there, so I have a little ordeal. Well my furture mother-in-law, as great as she is, has a hard time telling people no. She is so sweet, but doesn't know how to tell her large family that we are only having our immediate family in Cabo. When we get back, we are having a reception party at a golf course for about 180 people. Any suggestions? On our website, we let everyone know we are having a large reception party in the states, we will see how that blows over.

Wow! That's amazing, me and my FI are going to start getting microderms at least 6 months before the wedding. He is super anal about his face, I think he has better skin than me.

Thanks for the advice. Needless to say FI loves to shop. Funny huh? We are thinking Banana Republic, Tommy Bahama, or Nordstrom. We have four groomsmen. What type of footwear did they wear? We are getting married on the beach, not sure if they are wearing sandals or just wear shoes for the reception.

How early is everyone having the groomsmen and FI's get wedding attire?

For the OOT bags, how many extras did you get for last minute RSVP's?

I am having our wedding on the beach too and I think I am leaning towards the trio. I want to get my wedding planners opinion though.

I don't really care if my FI goes to a strip club, but he is not really into that either. I think I am a little more adventurous when it comes to things like that!

We are staying in Cabo for an extra week and a half after the wedding! I can't wait. We are just going to soak up the sun, swim with the dolphins and relax.

Stephanie- I can relate to what you are going through. My FI's dad has NEVER been on a vacation in his life nor ever called in sick to work. The man does not know how to relax! It has taken about four months for him to get use to the idea of even getting on a plane. Crazy I know, but he is just a SPECIAL kind of person. This was really hard for my FI at first, but the more we talked to his dad about it the more he began to break down. YES! Then my FI just decided that he would ask his dad to be a groomsmen and now he is forced to go. I even had to talk some sense into him. And my mother is quite upset with me right now and told my sister-in-law she may not come to the wedding because she thinks I am giving my dad advice on their divorce. My dad just needs more support because he is a softy and well is very stressed out. Well all we can do is hope for the best and if not there are other people who are special to me I can count on.

Hello everyone, just wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions for PB Sunset Beach. I am trying to decide on dinner choices and my wedding planner says they are pretty flexable.

I am using an ipod too for the reception. We are only having 30 people so I figure the bose speaker should work well. Thanks for all the great tips!
