  1. I inquired about the firedancers and this is what I received from my WC. Hi Natalie, There are more than once dance group here, however we only recommend one of them The pricing depends upon how many dancers and how many musicians we have: X2 Dancers with CD Music = $600 + Tax = $660 X2 Dancer with X1 Musician = $700 + Tax = $770 X2 Dancers with X3 Musicians = $950 + Tax = $1045 I have attached a couple of pictures to this email for you Take care, Natalie. the pics are the same ones that Tammy posted a while back.
  2. Karla- Thanks for the quick response. I was looking at Nordstroms the other day at earrings. They have so many, they all started looking the same after a while! The only place I had searched for flowers was the craft store. But they didnt look as real as yours. Thanks again.
  3. Our guests are pretty rowdy too. Hello my family is mexican and of course they always have to talk loud and talk all at once. But we have fun and besides like you said its mexico, they love to party!
  4. We are trying to keep it to 30-40. Everyone is also excited to come right now but I know things can change in a year. I am going to change our menu a little bit and invite a few more people. Our menu is HUGE and really dont think we need like 6 desserts plus the wedding cake.
  5. Again the pics are perfect! If you dont mind me asking a few questions? Are those real flowers in your hair? Where did you get your earrings and shoes? I know ten questions but I just want to know where to look when it comes time to pick out those details. Thanks
  6. WOW 1,000 threads! That is great, I love how everyone is so helpful. My friend is getting married in Jan and she is so jealous we have this DW forum. She said the girls on theknot are helpful but not like this.

I had a great stay and the staff was very helpful.
  8. We are doing the OOT bags and were going to put the favors in there. We are going to get wine stoppers(its has a heart on the top). Its simple and we have a lot of wine drinkers coming to the wedding.
  9. You two look awesome. My FI and I started to get very excited after seeing your pics!
  10. Janet- Thanks for the review. Sounds like things worked out good for you. Your flowers looked perfect and the center pieces were very simple but pretty.
  11. WOW! Sarah and Christa you girls did a great job. I wasn't going to do these because we are having our reception on the 3rd floor of the resort and the patio/inside La Nao and the girl from the knot who just got married there said the wind wasn't a big deal with the candles. But now looking at these maybe I should make some to go up the steps from the beach to resort.
  12. We hired Manuel for 4 1/2 hours day of the wedding and 1 1/2 hours for day after pics.
  13. Janet- Congrads! Enjoy your honeymoon, we can't wait to see your pics when you return!
  14. Christa- Thanks for the info on the ring. I was concerned about that and didn't want to tell my FI before I had done some research. He would have freaked out! I am so happy to hear that they can cut the material if needed.

OMG!!!n I am soooooooooo excited!!!! I wish i was getting married this weekend! Thanks for the heads up!
  16. We are going to have our web site printed on the STD's. The website has all the info and they can rsvp on the site too. I just didnt want to have to find cute paper, etc.
  17. Does anyone have current info on the firedancers? I made the mistake of showing my FI some pics of them and now he wants to get them! I told them I think its like $1500. but he really wants them. What a brat!
  18. You guys make me laugh!! I had just one so far, right after we got engaged. I had a dream that we were in this small hot room and these randoms girls were trying to help me get into this cheap RED dress! And when i began to walk down the aisle I started crying because I didn't know anyone at the wedding!
  19. As for me my future MIL has no daughters and we are pretty close so I am keeping her in the loop on pretty much everything. The downfall is she lives in Utah so I am going to see if she can make a trip in Feb to go dress shopping with me and my BM's. But the good thing is that she is not bossy at all and just excited we are finally getting married.
  20. Christina the dress looks great on you! Where did you get it? Kash, I am not going dress shopping in Feb. but I am thinking v-neck as well. I think that shape will look better on my not so slim figure.

We started looking at some condos in Scotts Valley for around $550,000. That will be the focus after the wedding, since we want to have kids soon. Although things could look up after we get married. Kevin's dad is about to retire and said he would help us get into our first place. I just keep my fingers crossed!
  22. Those are cute, I have to add this to my ever growing list of ideas!
