I have been so busy working, I haven't had time for xmas cards. I think I am going to send out some for the new year from Birth Announcements, Baby Shower Invitations, Photo Birth Announcements, Baby Birth Announcements, Baby Announcements they have cute address and gift labels too.

Sarah- That is so funny, it sounds like a dream I would have. I actually had a dream that the center stone in ring kept falling out !!!!!

I have stayed at this hotel three times. It is very nice and the people are friendly.

Ok girls we have been good so far and did not buy any starbucks all week! I also bought a "cabo jar" for when we want to buy coffee, we can put the cash we would have spent in the jar. I told his mom this and she decided to include a starbucks gift card with one of his xmas presents. So he can still have a little treat every now and then . I started deferred comp as soon as I started working full time. I put in a percentage, so when I work OT it puts in a little more. I also have PERS retirement that I put $ in and the county matches it. I am going to up the amount I put into savings so I can empty it out for the honeymoon!

Tammy- Ok, ship the FMIL to Ca. Kevin and I will hold her hostage til the week before the wedding. We will only feed her bread and water. hee hee You should buy her this book my FMIL is reading called "Mother of the groom." I guess it has some good advice regarding boundries with the bride and groom and wedding traditions. It must be working because I have not run into too many problems with Kev's mom yet. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Tammy- OMG seriously Cain needs to put his mother in check! I just read all of this today and sweetie you need to draw the line. I swear that is an old mexican lady for you. I hate to say it but its true, I know my mom is the same way! When i briefly lived at home for 6 months after college, she would open and read ALL my mail! WTF? GRRRRR Cain should address this with her because she doesnt want to respond to your kind gestures and just think if you dont nip it in the bud now, just wait til you have kids! And he is the only son, forget it. She is surely afraid of being replaced, no wonder she is acting out.

Thanks girls! We ordered them from the The White Aisle : Unique Wedding Favors and Invitations, they are good quality and are pretty cheap. Best of all I didn't have to make them.

here it is! They are extra long too, just like a ticket. My FI was so impressed with them, he thinks they look real. Now we are just waiting for the custom stamps we ordered, I am OOC (out of control) ha!

Beth- Do you know anything about the resort's hair and makeup services? Have you heard any reviews?

I am happy to hear that you had a mariachi band for less than $700. an hour. I wasn't going to get one because of the cost I was quoted but now I may rethink! After reading this thread, I just had to share it with my FI. He was shocked to see how all of you had given up your starbucks. He love starbucks, and drinks it 7 days a week!!!! He added up how much $ we could save and he said he will make a pact that everytime he wants to drink starbucks he will make coffee at home and put $4.00 in a jar. I know it will be hard for him but you guys inspired him thanks!! We are also going to limit eating out to once a week.

I just placed an order for my STD's. They should be here in a few weeks. My wedding date is not until Oct. 2007 but I swear I get questions every single week from people. I think they are just excited to plan a vacation, so I figure I would just order them now. I was going to send a newletter but by the time I started to work on it, it got really long. I just got a website and had the website address printed on the STD's.

Thanks girls for all the responses. I was the same way about not having a AHR but then kevin is actually the one who wanted it. I told him my father paying for the wedding in cabo was enough. But then his parents offered to pay for it and my MOH is the WC at the golf course so we decided to do it. The place is very pretty and we dont plan on doing anything too fancy. All of our parents are excited to invite all their work friends, extended family and our co-workers. I just just hope its not too overwhelming

Hey girls is anyone having a reception party when they get home? My FI's parents just put down a deposit for our reception party when we return from Cabo. We are only having 30-35 in Cabo and wanted to include the rest of our friends and family when we return. So far the list is around 170, but I know it will keep growing...

We are using weddingwindow.com everyone is very impressed so far. Even after my FI saw the site, he said I really need to start helping your more. Hee, hee he thinks I had to do everything from scratch.

Tammy- You are a saint. I mean really, I would probably would have thrown a major hissy fit by now, but girl you just keep searching that's awesome. This is exactly why i only give Kevin 4 options to choose from, all of which I already like. This way I still kind of get my way and he feels like he is helping.

Kevin and I have been together about 5 1/2 years. We met on my first day of work.
