  1. OMG Christa, that time flew by. You must be so excited. I need to check out your blog so I can view the pictures you have in there. GL
  2. Christa, when do you close?
  3. I'm the EXACT same way. In fact I was married before (when I was 19) and in almost all my pictures their were red blotches all over my chest and neck. I was scared to death that I would have a repeat for our wedding. Well to my surprise I was fine. My dh and I are not traditional people, we stayed our wedding night in the same room, in the morning we ordered in for breakfast, then went for a couples massage followed by a walk on the beach, it was very relaxing and it did the trick. We met up before the ceremony to take pictures and then walked down to the alter together. I was totally relaxed (plus having the sound of the waves crashing in the background helped too) Do whatever you think will relax you the morning of your wedding. Hopefully it will help.
  4. Congrats girl. I hope your day is everything you wanted it to be and much more. This past year was a hard road for you to travel, but you made it and everything is looking up. I wish you and R the best of luck together.

Believe me up until 4 years ago, the only way I was running was if someone was chasing me. lol. That's exactly what Cain and I did, that boy can run forever but for me it's really hard. I think I got up to almost a mile before, so I know I can train my body to do it, but it's really hard to get started because I get those sharp pains in my side.
  6. I'd love the start running, but in all honestly I suck at it. lol.. I swear I forget how to breath when I run. I think when Cain and I tired a couple of years ago I made it 1/2 mile before before I felt like I was ready to die.. :-)
  7. ROFL Karen... Point taken.. :-)
  8. I don't, just because of what you mentioned. OK funny story, Cain and I were doing a santa pet picture day for the rescue group, and we were using our camera because the one they provided was taking bad pictures. So Cain's Aunt came up to help us out for a few hours and we asked her for her memory card so that we can switch between the two for faster printing. So we start taking pictures and then realize that we have to keep going back in the card to pull up the latest pics to print so we ask his aunt if we can delete the pics on her card. Well Cain was going through them to make sure nothing look too important that she could have forgot about, and their was a picture of her on her bed wearing just a bra and panties in a sexy pose that her DH took of her. lol.. Cain told me about it later and I wanted SOOOO badly to call her up and tell her but Cain told me I couldn't. OMG I can just imagine what poor Cain was thinking.. rofl..
  9. A blonde and her husband are lying in bed listening to the next door neighbor's dog. It has been in the backyard barking for hours and hours. The blonde jumps up out of bed and says, "I've had enough of this". She goes downstairs. The blonde finally comes back up to bed and her husband says "The dog is still barking, what have you been doing?" The blonde says, "I put the dog in our backyard, let's see how THEY like it!"
  10. Their is a thread about this already. But to sum it up, many brides did photos before their wedding. I was one of them and it worked out great for us.
  11. Yeah apperently they have a 2yr old child and a newborn and I guess they thought getting a puppy at the same time was a good idea and more importantly something they could actually handle. From what Cain told me, they are a very nice couple but they are just way over their head. Puppies are alot of work, add to the mix a two children under 2yrs old.. I guess I would be stressed too. Plus since the father isn't a dog lover and his child was bitten and got 2 stitches in the face from the puppy, I guess I you could see it coming. On the flip side, parents need to teach their children how to act around a puppy, I mean she put her head in the dogs crate and the puppy wanted to play the only way he knows how. Go figure.
  12. So I wanted to give you guys an update on this. DH went for a homevisit last night for a couple that had an aggressive dog that bite their 2 year old in the face. They want to surrender the dog to our rescue group and told him over email that the dog was 15 months old. As it turns out the husband doesn't like dogs and the mother babies him too much. Well as it turns out this dog wasn't 15 months old he was 15 "weeks" old, he's a freakin puppy that is acting like a normal puppy that hasn't been given any sort of boundries. So we plan on fostering this pup and will be picking him up on Saturday. I'm guessing he won't be with us long, as puppies usually get adopted pretty quickly, however we will probably have him for at least a month so that we can teach him not to bite/nip. But I'm actually looking forward to having a puppy in the house again, and I can't wait to see how our foster girl is with him.
  13. Welcome back and glad to hear everything went well.
