A couple was celebrating their golden wedding anniversary on the beaches in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Their domestic tranquility had long been the talk of the town. People would say, 'What a peaceful and loving couple' The local newspaper reporter was inquiring as to the secret of their long and happy marriage. The husband replied: 'Well, it dates back to our honeymoon in America,' explained the man. 'We visited the Grand Canyon, in Arizona, and took a trip down to the bottom of the canyon by horse. We hadn't gone too far when my wife's horse stumbled and she almost fell off. My wife looked down at the horse and quietly said, 'That's once.' 'We proceeded a little further and her horse stumbled again. Again my wife quietly said, 'That's twice.' We hadn't gone a half-mile when the horse stumbled for the third time. My wife quietly removed a revolver from her purse and shot the horse dead. I SHOUTED at her, 'What's wrong with you, Woman! Why did you shoot the poor animal like that, are you crazy!?' She looked at ME, and quietly said, 'That's once.' And from that moment we have lived happily every after.'

I use a Sony Alpha, I got it when it first came out, but I believe the prices has gone down since then, I also have a longer lense, and I'm still playing around with the idea of trying out a filter & an even longer lense (lenses are so $$) Both DH and I have always enjoyed taking pictures, we wanted a nice camera when we went to cabo for our wedding and since then I have just really enjoyed taking pictures of the kids.. I'm also playing around with nature shots and still learning on how to edit pictures. but mainly it's for a hobby that hopefully one day I can incorporate into our future business as a side job. Who knows. lol.. Here is a couple pictures I took over the weekend. Please feel free to criticize, I'm still learning..

Question about having marriage license translated
TammyB replied to kristendotcom's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
Hmm I think it was about $50.00-$75.00 and it only took then a day or so. -
Looks great Ann. Question, how do you pull the sockets forward so they sit flush with the back splash? I want to do a back splash in our kitchen, but I'm afraid too.. :-)

Elsie really does have a thing for Chulo. She will kiss all this 2000 body parts (if dogs have that many) every night. It's cute and a little disturbing at the same time.. :-) Here is another picture of her running as close to him as possible. Hmm maybe I need to dress them up as bride and groom and make it offical.. lol

Yeap, been fostering Boston's for about 2 years now. It's amazing how similar, yet different each of them are. I will never be without one in my lifetime, either through fostering or by owning. :-)

Thanks... maybe someday, Want to get past "plan A" (some of you know what I'm talking about) first and then we will move onto saving money for the business.

I'm going to take a few photograhy classes and another one to learn more about my camera. But I would love to go into pet photography... Cain and I have plans to start up a business in the future so I can even take pics to raise money for the rescue group. But I have so much more to learn before I start charging people.. This is probably one of my favorite pictures I took of Mijo, it was done about a two weeks ago.. hmm maybe longer. Anyways he gets so sad when DH takes Chulo to the store with him, you can see a little tear in his eye. Just love this picture because it really captures Mijo's personality...

He really is the sweetest boy, a little timid due to what he's been thought and he totally dosn't have a potty issue, it was just another lame excuse to give him up.

She is still learning new things every day, just Sunday she learned to go all the way downstairs, this is a first in the 7 months we had her, I'm really going to miss seeing her to continue to grow. So I called the family and talked to them some more and I'm just "ok" with it now. Truth is, I don't think I would ever find a perfect home for Elsie, only because it won't be my home so I'm sure I will pick apart every single person interested in her.

So yesterday was about 50 outside, so we decided to take advantage of the weather and took the kids to the park. Here is our newest foster dog, Buster Brown with DH My silly boy Mijo.. Chulo, tired of chasing the ball and being chased by foster Elsie Kids playing I think Elsie is sneaking in a kiss to Chulo in this one.. lol And my baby girl Elsie, she is going to her forever home this weekend.

Oh yeah we love taking our boys to daycare (yes we take our boys to doggy daycare, lol) They really are tired from playing all day.

We watched it as well, I have to say that I'm happy with the choice but I was very shocked by it. The reunion show looks so freakin funny, I can't wait to watch it.

ProMeris is a new flea and tick preventative by fort dodge. It is causing poison like symptoms and I believe is being pulled from the market. If you have any check with your vet before using.

Question about having marriage license translated
TammyB replied to kristendotcom's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
I just looked in our local yellow pages for a translation company. Also if you go to your local security of state office, (or even look online) they will have a print out of translations offices that they will accept. Be sure to contact your branch office first so you know what they will require to make you name change legal.
