  1. I'm a big believer of acupuncture, it helped me when I was injured and of course the dog we cared for. I'm glad to hear your husband is responding well to it, it's sad that most insurance companies don't think of acupuncture as a real way to treat people, hopefull that will change in the future. GL to your hubby, I hope he continues to be pain free.
  2. I was hoping the photographers on the forum can answer a couple of questions for me. 1) What editing software do you use? 2) Do you shoot most of your images in Raw or auto? & if you shoot some in Raw, what are those situations and why? Just a little info, my DH and I are wanting to open up a business in the future (probably 2 years from now) and as a side job to tie into the business I was thinking about going into pet photography. But I have ALOT of stuff to learn before that ever happens, so I'm hoping for some pointers. Thanks in advance.
  3. Juan you never stop amazing me with talent. Those pictures are amazing, and that location is stunning. Great job as always.
  4. Great photos, I love the one of you two kissing on the beach/water. Very pretty.

I fell asleep crying because I missed her so much, it's the evening hours when she starts to wind down she starts with having her ball right next to her, then starts kissing Chulo, that is what puts her to sleep, then right before shes out for the night, she cuddles right on my lap. I miss that so much.. This morning was hard too because I'm used to her cute little face being at my feet in the morning waiting for her food. :-( I can't stop thinking about how she was when we first got her, and it makes me sad thinking that she doesn't have anyone to cuddle with her right now because she doesn't trust them yet. She is definitly my hardest to adopt out, she really stole my heart. Quote: Originally Posted by timelsel Tammy, my husband asked how you ever got started fostering bostons? Your little Elsie looks just like our Otto. We could almost hear him snorting! We actually just started with donating money each month, then when we decided to get our second dog (of course he was through the BT rescue group) we were just blown away with them and all they do. So we started to help out with foster home visits, then moved to store meet and greets, Our first foster was a temp foster, the normal foster family were going on vacation for a couple of weeks and needed a sitter for him (he was a special needs Boston, his front legs were fused 90 degrees, so he had to scoot around with his back legs) Well two days after we got him he jumped off the couch (normal thing for him to do) but he became paralized.. Long story short, we thought we were going to have to put him to sleep because he couldn't move, we had to spoon feed him water, and manually express his bladder, we finally decided to try one last thing, Acupuncture on him, sure enough he started to respond to the treatment. We ended up keeping him for 2 months until he was able to pee on his own, and move around better, the perm foster home felt that moving him back with them in their 4 dog house hold would only delay his progress. Once he was almost back to normal he went back home with his perm foster family, who actually ended up adopting him. :-) After that we just new we wanted to help more and started fostering on a regular basis.
  6. Congrats, can't wait to see the pics of your ring.
  7. Thanks, I think I'm going to drown myself ice cream. :-( OK two last pictures of my little girl..
  8. My foster Elise went to her forever home today. I was proud of myself for fighting off the tears while they were still here. Her new mommy had me put her leash on her, and I put Elsie in her arms, she ended up putting her on the grass and when it was time to pick her up Elsie put her belly to the ground and then when the lady walked closer to her, she ran for our front door. :-((( Gosh, my house just doesn't feel the same without her here. Elsie's new forever family.. :-((
  9. ha ha hang in there, I was told 45 days and I think it took about 3 months. Waiting is the hardest part, but I'm sure they are going to be worth it.
  10. Morgan, thanks.. I like three the best. Is their any way you can lighten up the wall? Looks really good though, thanks

Or of course I'm always posted picture of my crew. lol

  19. Ok with all our talented girls & guys on here I thought I would ask for some help. I posted this picture in another thread and I would really like it to look cleaner and have bubbles added (it was her first bath) I'm hoping someone out there in our wonderful BDW forum is able to help me out. PLEASE
  20. Jen, you looked great, and the ceremony and table looked awesome. Ok who is first to bug Juan for a teaser pic?
  21. Well Christine, they will probably still want to be next to you on the couch when you are there, but yeah we kicked the dogs out of our bed a couple months back. It's so nice not to be pushed of the bed by the pups all the time.. lol
  22. Welcome back Jen and congrats. Can't wait to see your pics..

I need a bigger house & yard so I can start keeping the "Elsie's" :-)
  24. I'm going to try to contain myself.. But I would love to chin him up and not feed him until he dies, I bet he wouldn't think it's so "artsy" after that.. Stupid people..
