  3. Happy Birthday, hope you have a wonderful day.
  4. I have to agree, I think it could actually make for some really cool E-pics, besides I would assume the lighting is better on a cloudy day.. I say still go for it and make the best of it.

So no more fosters. he he, we have a two pet limit at our townhome as well. But so far we have been lucky.. We are really careful to only take out two at a time, and since they are all Bostons well most people can't tell the difference.. lol So shhh don't tell anyone.. :-)
  6. Welcome to the forum, I see you are from Michigan as well, where abouts?
  7. Yeah, try to relax and just have fun I'm sure they will turn out great.
  8. Did you even ask her if she know what that word meant? maybe she meant like "picture whore" but in your case a bling whore.. but just used it in the wrong content.
  9. Welcome to the forum, I just checked out your photograpy blog, I read how you and your FI and snowboarders and read your engagement story. Oh and you pup is adorable. Welcome again..
  10. Well I wouldn't say I envisioned doing this as a kid, but DH and I donate alot of our time volunteering with a local dog rescue group, Dh also volunteers at a local no kill shelter. We try our best to help as many dogs/cats as we can find a good forever home. I know this might not be the type of response you were looking for, but to us it's our way of helping. We have talked about fostering children in the future, but that is far in the future for us.
  11. You think your dog is bad, try hanging out with Boston Terriers for a day.. LOL they can clear a room fast. Ok food, you can try to switch them to something a little more for sensitive stomachs, IE Eagle Pack, oatmeal and rice. Also if you think their gas is worse now then maybe it was before, then you might want to consider getting their anal glands expressed, I know it's gross but some dogs need to have it done.
  12. I was married before, I got married when I was 19 and he was also in the service. I have told my now Dh many many times that if we have a child and that child wants to get married at 19 I would lock them in a closet until they are 21. IMO a 19 year old doesn't even know who they really are at that age, yeah you couldn't have told me that then, but after two years of being married I wasn't happy, I think I was more in love with the idea of moving to CA then I was with the idea of being married to my ex. We were married for about 7 years and of that seperated for 1.5 years. I grew up ALOT during the time we were seperated and I "found myself" at that time as well. Sometimes as much as we hate what is going on around us we need to be supportive, offer advise when needed and just hope that it all works out in the end.
  13. Dogs have such a great personality. I have told Dh before that I hope my younger dog will pass away before my older one, not because I want him to pass away, he's my baby boy.. But because he has such a stong bond with my older dog that I think he would end up killing himself if my older passed away first. He gets so depressed when DH takes our older dog to the store and my younger is left behind (he doesn't like car rides) My lil foster girl used to sleep with her favorite ball, it was like she was protecting it from the other dogs. :-) God I miss her..
  14. Great pictures, love the vibrant colors of their wedding

Tammy I remember when we spoke on the phone the other day and you sounded so in love with her. I just knew it was going to break your heart to give her to her new family so I just couldn't bring myself to read this thread. But then I didn't want you to think I didn't care so here I am. Of course I cried. She is so adorable, and I must say she looks happy. You and Cain are such amazing people and I really have such respect for the both of you. I know you miss her like crazy but try to comfort yourself by knowing that she is happy in her new home and has a new friend Diego to keep her company. D@mn you Glenda, now you made me cry (course I'm a bit emotional due to AF) I do miss her a lot. shoot my boys miss her too, yesterday Chulo kept coming up to me to play tug and I remembered how anytime I started playing tug with Chulo, Elsie would step in and play with him. I just miss her lil face and the crazy noises she made when she was playing. :-( But I' am happy that she sounds like she's adjusting, a little jealous but happy for them.
  16. ***UPDATE*** I received an email today on Elsie. Thought I would share it with you guys. I sent her the picture I took of Elsie and them when they came to pick her up. D@mn I still miss her so much, but it sounds like she is doing well, and that makes me happy. "Hi Tammy, Thank you for the picture! Elsie is doing great! She did really well yesterday while we were at work. We bought one of the attachable water dishes for her crate. Casey gets home usually around 4:00 and then I get home around 5:30. It was so adorable, when I got home yesterday she ran up to me and put her paw on my leg. It was like she was happy to see me. She even jumped up on the couch last night and sat at the opposite end I was sitting on but, I still feel she is making progress. Her and Diego are like best friends. They play like crazy and chase eachother around the kitchen table. I have a great picture of the two of them passed out on our loveseat together. I will forward that to you soon. I think she will do great, she is already fitting in with our family just perfectly. I will continue to send you pictures and updates frequently. I hope all is well with you guys and that you don't miss her too much. Talk with you soon"
  17. Did you guys see this? Poor thing.. Video - Breaking News Videos from CNN.com
  18. Heidi I'm so glad yoiu got your teaser pictures. They look great and you looked so happy.
  19. Exactly, If a vendor really wants to make things better for future brides it takes a few negitive comments to let them know what they need to improve on. My gosh it only helps their profession, right?
  20. If I was outside sitting by the pool I would sit in shade, if I was out walking around I wore sun screen and shirts that covered my shoulders. I was there 4 days before our wedding. I also had a really good tan before I went, just be careful and think about what your doing and you should be fine.
  21. Ok so I remember back when I got married many women were upset with JC because he was behind in his photos, ono bride posted a VERY honest review. JC commented to it and accepted that is was a problem and is taking the steps to correc it. My point in telling you this is because IMO she should have accepted the review as it was and took it as a learning experience. That is pretty sh*tty on her part that she is blaming you for ruining her rap. Shame on her.. BTW on this forum we are happy to hear comments back from vendors, sometimes it helps to see both sides of the story. Ya know?
  22. Thanks for the tips, I still need to learn how to actually change the mode on my camera to raw format.. lol. SO needless to say I still have alot to learn
  23. I'm so sorry, I don't know what else to say. Sending you a big hug.
