  1. nothing interesting, we may be adopting out the little she devil (aka puppy, lol) tomorrow, they are coming by our house with their boxer and their children to make sure it's a good match. And on Saturday and Sunday we are doing adoption meet & Greets for the rescue. So boring but busy.. Drea, want to trade places.. :-)
  2. Congrats Glenda, you did an amazing job, nothing better then beeing the biggest looser and a nice jackpot at the end.
  3. I went through the exact same thing, I was thinking we could be doing so much more with the money we spent on the wedding if we just had something with just the two of us. But DH really wanted to move forward with the wedding and we did and I'm so happy we did. Yes the planning stages is hard and we cut back alot but in the end it will be worth it.... You'll see..
  4. Welcome to the forum. Yes Nicole speaks very highly of you.
  5. I use photobucket to host my siggy. I take the bottom code and just past in it the siggy field. Where are you adding the link once you copy it
  6. CRAP.. I hate work.. I can't view pictures at work.. stupid work, stupid work......stupid work...
  7. YEAH HEIDI.. ok going to go look at them now.. So excited for you, I know you have been dying to see them.
  8. Wait,,,, I don't believe the mods approved you taking a vacation.. lol Have a great time Shelley, will miss you.
  9. Ok so I'm trying to learn photoshop CS3, and I'm playing around with a picture I took of our new foster pup. Tell me what you think. HONESTLY, please I need to know what I need to work on to make the picture better. THanks..

  11. That's awesome, it sounds like a great place to volunteer with. It's amazing how each dog you foster has it's own set of problems it needs to overcome, but it make the experience that much for fun. GL with your foster, let me know if you ever have any questions.
  12. I agree I think this couple needs some counceling, they clearly don't have good communication and now possible trust issues. But if they aren't having s*x and he's now looking for some other forms to get, well excited. Then to be honest I can't blame him. It really sounds like they need to sit and talk and talk to a professional that can help get to the real issues.
  13. My boys are doing ok with her. It's funny because when we rescued our younger dog (we got him as a puppy) he tormented my other dog, well now that Lady is here she likes to start trouble with my younger dog and he want's nothing of it.. lol Plus he is a little jealous of her right now since she is always at my feet (mainly nipping at my toes, lol) Her newest thing is our poor cats tail, I think she thinks it's her special toy.. lol My boys won't miss her at all.. lol
  14. OMG I'm on puppy over load.. lol.. I swear this puppy is the devil himself.. rolf.. kidding but wow I totally forgot how spaz a puppy is, the second she gets out of her crate in the morning she is a handful. Oh and she has this little pick stuffed animal, well it's her favorite toy and her best friend, she humps it, sleeps with it and just yesterday we noticed she was trying to milk it.. lol this poor stuffy.. :-) We have a family coming to meet her on Sunday, As much as I love her adorable little face, and she is really smart in just two days we have taught her to sit. But wow, I'm tired, last night I just wanted to cry because it was 10:00 at night and she is laying down one second and jumping up like a popcorn that just popped and trying to chew my hair or bite my nose or just attack whatever is moving.. lol.
  15. In my non expert opinion, I think maybe he is lashing out about his ex because when your dealing with so much stress you want to put your anger at someone, and because she hurt him, he's doing it now. Allow him this time to reflect on his past, but be there for him as well, regardless if it's just to sit there on the couch and not say two words to each other, just being there to support him will mean alot to him.
  16. ROFL I seen this post pop up and I thought "hmm I thought Nicole would have changed her name before the baby was here" lol Christa, I insured my stuff when I sent off for my new passport, with all the trouble I had the first time I had to make sure it was covered. Man I'm I glad it's behind me now.

  18. I have been trying to get a good picture of her ever since we picked her up yesterday but soo hard. Maybe I'll throw her in her little purse and take one it will at least get her to stop moving for like 5 seconds.. lol
  19. Oh Christine you reminded me of another, remember that little boy Joey C that used to appear on the stage with Kid Rock? I went to High School with him, he was one year behind me, he was very protected by senoirs
  20. I met several of the Lions and Redwings players, ok not really "famous" but kindof.. lol I also went to a Maxim party a few years ago and several famous people were there, Mike tyson being one of them.. lol
  21. We had 6 guests, and because we had a small wedding it allowed us to do little things that made it special, IE individual cakes for each person and we allowed our guests to order whatever they wanted from the dinner menu

Mijo.... well he's not so brite, lol but he acts just like a puppy/cat so we never have issues with him, well except when we bring in a foster that still needs to be neutered, they always want to hump my poor baby boy, which usually results in Mijo hiding under our bed..lol He's a total mommy boy and does get a little jealous, but he does really well. Morris (the cat) actually does awesome with the fosters, he comes up, sniffs them for a few seconds and that's it. The only dog that didn't like cats was the stray we found in Detroit and fostered him until we found him a home, but we have been really lucky so far. I have to admit, I really want a female dog. Rosie (senior) was our first and passed away with us, then my baby girl Elsie and now this little puppy. OMG I love dressing them up in cute little outfits. Just need the MI housing market to turn around so we can sell our home and buy another one with lots of land.. :-)

Her name is Lady, we call her little Lady or Diva.. lol The family that surrendered her gave us all her stuff, many toys one of which is a stuffed animal that is by far her favorite (pink like her collar) and the cuttest pink and brown polka dot purse that you put her in, she is totally a little Diva. She has never been around other animals and only the mom and daugher before, so she was so timid when we got her, we introduced her to our crew one by one and within a few minutes she was playing with them. I think she like's her stuffy a little too much if you KWIM? lol
  24. A new foster puppy... Ok so we are crazy and are now back up to 4 dogs and a cat.. lol But we picked up this little girl today, she is 4 months old and weights about 6 or 7 pounds, and just the cutest little energy ball, omg I forgot how much work a puppy is, lol. There is already a potential home for her, so we will only have her for a week or two, but I'm enjoying her puppy breath and her puppy smell for now..
