Has anyone been too the Chicago Botanic Garden? DH and I are planning a trip to Chicago for our anniversary and I was wondering if it would be a worth it to stop there. Also if you recommend it, how many hours do you think it would take to go through it? BTW, we leave for Chicago in June 4th, not sure if that will make a difference, maybe it would be too early for most flowers to be in bloom.

Christine, I got that email as well. I was SO excited to see it. I'll be watching email & the forum all day today wondering if she has nugget.

Thanks Jason. I figured if I can give up Elsie, the rest has to be pretty easy. But having this little girl put her head on my shoulder just wanting to cuddle, well she know how to wrap her paw around me.. lol

I think it totally depends on where you live and the time of year. Like PP said if it gets hot quick then IMO I would mow early in the morning as well.

Can you guys believe that she may already have a home? I posted her pictures on a Boston Terrier website and she is getting a ton of interest already, their is a women that is new to fostering for our rescue group that lost her Boston a few months back to cancer and she wants to adopt her. Best part,, she lives about 20 mintues away and we see her at the dog park and meetups alot. :-) So I'm pulling her her to adopt her.. Looks like I have to get my cuddles in fast.

I'd like everyone to meet our newest foster, Zora. She is about 10 weeks old and weights about 4-5 pounds. OMG just the sweetest little girl ever. All she wants to do is lay in my arms and cuddle, and oh boy does she have the best puppy smell ever.

I agree, are they starting the project back up now?

Didn't the permit cover the 2nd story? Do they have to "see" your permit to keep the project running? IMO I would fight fire with fire with this women, every single thing you see her do I would question it and call on it. People like this always gets what's coming to them.
