  2. Since we never really did an official signature picture theme this month, I thought it might be fun if we did a special contest for the remaining of the month. The contest will be in two parts, 1) post a funny picture (of you, your SO, your pets, family members, etc) and 2)come up with captions for the photos submitted in the thread. (using the Quote button) The funniest picture submitted and the best caption will win 10,000 points each. The contest will run from today until June 20th, let the fun begin. :-) **Please do not add a caption to your own photo** Rules **You can post up to 5 pictures **Only one caption for each picture submitted. (again you can't post a caption to your own photos) **Contest ends June 20th

  4. Yari, you should post a picture of your bedroom so I can take a look. :-)
  5. Darn, I can't open that link you posted. It's my stupid work computer. Hmm I'll have to scope out my wedding CD when I get home to see if I can find some really pretty shots for above the bed. Hmm landscape or Portrait do you think?

Hmmm, if I have a Queen size bed, what size frame & pictures do you think would look best? I think if I do a picture/s above our bed I would want either one large one or 3.

I think it will look nice. I was thinking about a wedding picture, but do you think it's too vein? Also I did my room in brown and blue, so I'm still trying to decide if I want color photos or B & W for other parts of the room?

  10. I'm almost done redoing our masterbedroom, and I'm curious, what do you have hanging above your bed in your bedroom? I can't decide what I want to hang, I was thinking about a monogram but DH hates the idea.
  11. Happy Birthday, hope you have a wonderful day.

Thank you (from another animal lover) We actually live in a townhome with no yard as well. We usually only have one foster at a time, so don't let that stop you from helping if you are interested. When it comes to off leash play time we take them to a dog park.
  13. Ok first I will say "no I'm NOT pregnant".. Just wanted to clear that up first. :-) You all know I'm a dork when it comes to dogs, well our foster was adopted out yesterday and perfect timing I might add (BTW didn't shed a tear with that one, omg he was a ton of work) Our rescue group is pulling several Bostons from another Puppymill and were getting one of them. So you may be thinking "why so excited then" Well because IMO Puppymill dogs are the main reason why we volunteer, they are in such need of help and medical attention and just seeing them grow into a normal dog is just an awesome experience. Plus I have to admit, I still my Elsie every single day and I'm looking forward to that experience all over again. Well minus all the potty training :-). All we know right now is that all the dogs are females and under the age of 5,(most puppy mills keep the females for breeding and sell the males) no idea yet when we will get them, it's usually treated as an emergency type thing, they pull them and need to transport them right away so it will be a very last minute thing. I guess the Boston are coming from the Cleveland area. Anyway I'm very excited and can't wait to foster another Mill dog.
  14. Oh and a little off topic for a second.. OMG I can't believe Gwen is already 3 weeks old. :-)

However, it does look like they network with limo companies and other modes of transportation - look under Partners and Patrons. Other similar charities: Angel Flight West Corporate Angel Network - Home Hmmm, If this charity is paired up with a limo service companies, I wonder if we offer them an advertising space on the forum if they would be more willing to donate their time?
  16. Ann if you do the road trip, I don't think Michigan is too far out of your way, I think you'll need to stay at our house for the night.. :-) (just trying to help)
  17. Does it count if I told the rescue group that we would take another puppymill dog? It's not really random since we always help the rescue. Hmm I guess I should try to come up with something else.
  18. Is their a baby mask or something you can put on her so the risk of flying is lower?
  19. Gosh Ann I can't think of anything other then what you have already thought of. Maybe the RV idea would work, that way you won't have to stop when you need to feed and change Gwen.
  20. Can you maybe hire him to do an engagement shoot of the two of you, and them go from there? IMO photography is the one thing you bring back with you that will always remind you of your wedding day. I have seen some people do a wedding for the first time and about 8 out of 10 times, they don't turn out well. Granted you need to get experience somewhere but maybe if you do an engagement shoot you'll get a feel of it better.
  21. Jackie, awesome review. I loved Juan, he has the best personality, in fact he even sent me an email for our 1yr anniversary, I mean come on what other vendor does that once they completed all their work? He's just awesome and maybe if I make it out to cabo again I may hire him to do a fun shoot with DH and I.
  22. Congrats chic. Wow would you have thought that a year after your wedding you would be camped out in CA with your baby?
  23. That's great, thanks for choosing to rescue.
  24. Have a great birthday, hope all your wishes come true.
