  1. I've tried to follow a book on photoshop but I need the basic stuff before I get into the stuff from the book I had. Like I learned out to lasso a picture, but I have no clue how to change the background yet. I also learned how to layer. However I must say all those short keys are confusing me to right now.
  2. Congrats, now you can start decorating your babies room for Noah.. :-)
  3. BTW, Morgan you should start posting a before and after pictures. Shoot I think it would be fun for anyone interested in learning how to edit pictures to see the difference.
  4. I have the Sony Alpha DSLR, and love it. When we got it last year it was about $900.00 and we purchased another lens for about $300.00 (Macro lens is next on my list) I've also been looking around for a photoshop class, I've seen them online but I want to have someone actually work with me on it. I have shot in Raw, however because I suck at photoshop right now I figured why bother, so for now I shoot in manual and auto. I love taking pictures of landscape type pictures and of course our furbabies, don't think I'll ever get into portrait unless I have a child and might experiment on him/her.
  5. That's a great idea Lisa on using the tuna or coffee can.
  6. Christine and Lisa, go to a scrapbook store you could probably find a templete for round circles and just paint in it. Should only cost a few dollars, I have one at home with a few different size circles

Well at the very least, you need to take some adorable beach shots of Gwen in a bathing suit, I mean she is a CA girl now. :-)
  9. Well that makes it easier then. :-) Where are you planning on putting the flower? On one side, in the back? I think 1, 2 & 4 would look best on the side and 3 would look best in the back.

I have tried so many paints and I finally found something I like (Sherwin Williams) so I'm courious on your feedback. I guess I was going to take advantage of not being pregnant and paint our spare bedroom since my DH hates to paint, but if this paint is good I won't have to worry about it.
  11. Happy Birthday, hope you have a wonderful day
  12. **BUMP** Last week to submit your pictures and captions.
  13. Ann that is so awesome that Gwen might be able to come home. DO you think you'll be able to meet up with Leigh for some pics before you leave?
  14. Lisa looks good so far, can't wait to see furniture and baby stuff in there. Quick question, I thought a pregnant person wasn't suppose to be around paint? I guess in my mind that's why I wanted to paint our spare bedroom a natural color that could go wtih what I have in there now and a babies room if that time every comes. Is that like different now?

Thanks Rachel, I will however say that wedding photographer is something I don't think I will ever be interested in (if/when I get to that point skill wise that is) I much more enjoy taking landscape & pet pictures, their more fun, IMO. :-) So yeah I will never be rich of those types of photos but yeah I'm having fun and that's what counts right. :-) Quote: Originally Posted by REBECCA Beautiful pics! 18. Thanks girls for all the nice comments. It's funny when I was there Cain looked at me and said "I wonder if you know the photographer" I belong to this forum and another with a bunch of photographers (go there so they can pick apart my pics and let me know how to make them better) but nope didn't know her. Would have been cool if she was from here.

I have to say that I love taking pictures of the garden, and I really want a macro lens now. :-) Becky and her Dad The happy couple saying their vows Ahh married at last (well the ceremony only took 15 minutes) The Cake..
