  1. Cool it will give me something to do at work tomorrow.. lol
  2. Sorry I know the mods were going to pick the top 5 for Picture/caption but then things got crazy and people started having babies.. :-) Once the top 5 is picked we'll have you guys vote for the winners. Hopefully we can do that this week.
  3. Christa I love your living room, and it's actually pretty close to the colors of mine. :-) So what's not to love, right? Were in the process of pricing wood floors for our main level so I'm starting to look for area rugs now for the living room and dining room. I'll have to check out overstock.com. Most of the ones I'm seeing are about $500.00, I wanted to find them cheaper then that. We shall see.
  4. Christa looks great, I love the pillows, where did you get them? I'm looking for blue pillows but I can't seem to find ones I like right now.
  5. Oh hubby is going to be so excited.

Don't you know I'm pregnant and I get irritated very easily these days. Argh!!! GO TO THE DAMN DOCTOR YOU GROSS MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Signed, Hormonal very irritated pregnant lady that is tired of hearing you cough shit up! :-(( I've been sick like this too for over a month, it's a really bad sinus infection and it's taking forever to get over completely. I hope my cubies don't hate me.. :-)

Our house is a mess and I am so not motivated to clean it or do laundry but hubby has been working a lot and I don't want him to feel like he has to do everything. I am so excited to be pregnant but it's so hard to show it when I feel this way. The worse part is I think my husband thinks it's in my head. He says stuff like if you would get out of the house more and stop thinking about being sick I bet you wouldn't get sick as much. I walk around the house with a trash can because I never know when it's going to strike. How would he like me to go out in public like this? Yeah men don't get it sometimes. With all the fertility drugs I was on, DH kept thinking I was making it up, it wasn't until we recently adopted out a foster dog and the women was very open about her fertility treatments and she was complaining about that same things, I looked at DH and said "see I wasn't making it up" I'm sorry your not feeling well, hopefully you'll start to feel better soon.
  8. Umm probably about 5 minutes.. ROFL. actually I don't remember but I'm sure it wasn't long. :-)

I think she joined like a week after me. Yeap I was on the original forum as well. It was much smaller and was a great help then, and even more so now. I remember Tammy's photos is what made me fall in love with Juan's work. It was so much fun seeing all the original member slowly get married and now their all having babies (or had them already)
  10. Can you hire a photographer for JUST the ceremony? It should be much cheaper and then your friend can do all the rest of the shots. I'm sure he can even do the "getting ready" for the most part as well.
  11. Unless you plan on adding another band when you are married, then I wouldn't wear the one now. Like PP said, people will assume you are already married (not sure if that makes a difference to you)
  12. We had a first birthday party for our dogs as well. We actually got their cake from a doggie bakery for like $20.00 and put little hats on them. If I were at home I'd post some pictures.. lol Just an FYI if your pup has tummy issues like my boys, the cake or ice cream might give them soft stool for a couple days. Just an FYI.. :-) Oh and be sure to post bithday pictures after the party..
  13. Awe I love the turtles, very cute.. I also love those types of beds, I'm all for buying once to get you through the toddler stage.
  14. Welcome to the forum. I think my biggest advise is be prepared on hearing family/friends b*tch about you choosing to have a DW (destination wedding) But in the end it's about the two of you. As far as locations, we have a ton of information on the forum, so just use the search box and I'm sure their has already been talk on the areas your thinking about. GL
  15. Well I'm glad that is sounds like you two are working it out. I hope he decides to go to tharapy, sounds like he has a past he needs to work though. Good luck and I hope you two continue to grow together.
  16. Great tips Shawn. So I have a question to add onto Morgan's thread.. (hope it's ok Morgan) I already have a pretty good zoom lens, and I wanted to get the below. Can you tell me if the order is correct or did you find you used a certain lens more then what you orginally thought. Macro Wide angle Flash I'm more of a hobby photographer right now, but one day I'm hoping to get into pet photography. (if that helps)
  17. Great pictures, I had my first attempt at taking photos of fireworks over the weekend and we were way too close, they were directly over our head. I was telling DH that next year we'll have to make a point to sit further away. I wanted to get shots like yours since we were at the lake. Oh well maybe next year. :-)
  18. I hired Maye when we got married. I experienced some good and bad with her, but not hiring her wasn't an option because we wanted to have a legal wedding in Mexico and without her I found it extremly hard, and for me impossible to book the judge and do all the legal stuff for the wedding. I did hire her for other services, IE flowers & ceremony music, the flowers were exactly the price I expected and the music was a HUGE disappointment because she dropped the ball and never confirmed until the night of our rehearsal so we didn't get what we orginally wanted. BUT I'm the type that double checks everything, but what I found is if you book with Maye she makes sure the vendors do what they need to do, ontime and so forth and yes she does charge a little extra to work with the vendors. At the end of the day I would hire her again
