Nope that lamp is going, if you notice the bottom of it, one of our wonderful foster dogs decided to chew it.. lol I have a matching one in the room on the other side of the couch that you can't see. But those lamps are what I'm replacing. The picture above the couch is being moved down and centered. It was fine with the old couch but not now. For the corner where that lamp is, I was thinking of putting a plant back there.. Remember I'm going to have an end table in that empty spot inbetween the couch and chair. (still not sure about the plant, but it's my current idea)
  2. Hmm so bright green? What do you think of this as an accent color? Mossi Vase Amber by Lalique - Vases - Bloomingdales.com (note not this vase, umm yeah way out of my price range..lol)
  3. So I was thinking of putting blue pillows on my sofa (right now they are black) and I have that blue throw blanket. How would you guys incorporate the accent color? I really think the blue needs to be carried through on the other side of the wall to blance it out. KWIM?
  4. Oh I'm so sorry. Maybe you'll be blessed with a really good baby and your sister will have one that cries alot, to even things out. :-) Seriously thought, I can't imagine being home bound for 9 months, that would really suck. Are the Dr's thinking that it will get better over time?
  5. Yeah I was thinking if I did a green accent it would be pretty easy to do, like add some plants and maybe a couple vase's or something. But I wonder if the green would give it the "pop" that I'm looking for. KWIM?
  6. Happy Birthday Jen, hope you have a wonderful, spoiled day. :-)
  7. Hey ladies (and guys too), I need your help on some decorating ideas. I'm in the process redoing my living room. Below is Shelley's post with the pictures of my living room. (Thanks Shelley) The couch is facing the blue wall in the other picture. I'm looking for lamps (new end table, coffee table & chair are being delivered tomorrow) Which one of the below lamps do you think would look the best for the room? Or something all together different? (side note my new tables are dark brown with glass inserts) Also, I'm looking for an accent color for the room, I was thinking either Red, Green or Orange. What are your thoughts? I'm taking a 1/2 day today to buy this stuff (no time this weekend) so would LOVE your help. 15. Well it's that time a month again, and for this month were going to do a "Name" siggy. So for example, my name is Tammy so for each letter of my name I would need to have a picture that represents that letter. BUT let's make each picture actually mean something, maybe you can do wedding related pictures, hobbies, or for all you new mommies you could do something baby related, just be creative using the letters in your name.. Here is an an example Name = Cain C = Cabo, Picture from our wedding A = Animal rescue group , picture of our current foster dog I = IL, the state he grew up in, picture of his favorite sports team from IL N = Night life, picture of a night out with friends Have fun and I can't wait to see what you create.
  16. Thanks ladies and I agree that Chi is so stinking cute. :-)

  18. So I'm bored out of my mind and was looking at the pictures I took from this past weekends dog adoption event. Thought I would share a couple. There was a Chi on a motorcycle and I had to get a couple shots of him, sooooo cute.. A couple of the foster dogs at the event, Buster is the first one and Logan the second (Buster is my current foster) And a shot of what was directly behind us at the event. I love how this picture turned out.
  19. I was married at the Sheraton but I was married on the beach next to DeCortez, and our dinner was at DeCortez. Jessalyn was married at the Sheraton as well and had her ceremony at the palapa, she is on vacation right now but should be back on Monday (I think) I'm sure she can answer those questions for you. Feel free to PM me and I'll do my best to answer your questions. Oh and I tested all the restaurants at the Sheraton and I personally liked DeCortez the best
  20. Gosh Mo, you poor thing. Hopefully the worst is behind you now.
  21. Good class Morgan. I need to take a few classes as well, but just been so busy lately.
  22. We feed out boys eagle pack. And they are picky eaters as well, plus it's a great food if your dog has allergies.
  23. Karen I'm so happy you both are home and on the road to recovery. Give Jay our best.
