  1. So round two didn't go much better then round one..lol I still can't seem to get the ISO & AP setting correct. But here are some shots from today.
  2. Help me decide your favorite picture. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
  3. If I had to choose I would pick #3. I like 2 the best but ummm it would be on your butt and parts are red, and well your a women.. you see where I'm going.. IMO I wouldn't add one. But that is just me.
  4. That's awesome to hear Jay. I'm so happy that you can now actually enjoy your days and karen without feeling like crap everyday. Hopefully this is a start to many more wonderful things for you two.

Like Trish said I've been eying up some other lenses and most are well above $1k For the professional photographer not a big deal but the hobbyist that's a lot of money! I wish money grew on trees. HA, I wish I got a package deal.. But sadly I didn't. I've been wanting a macro for awhile now and I heard such great things about the nifty fifty so I decided to get it as well, and the Flash was needed. It is an expensive hobby.

Maybe whey Sarah has her baby I can experiment on baby pics.. But for now I'm focusing on pets and nature. Quote: Originally Posted by beachbride08 Those are great. I work with 2 rescue groups right now and every I make is donated to them. OR I just take pictures for them to post on the web/newspaper. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm enjoying it in the mean time. Quote: Originally Posted by Tlseege Beautiful tammy!!! I have the 50 f1.4 and I LOVE it!!! I am afraid to get the macro lens though. I didn't have batteries in the house for it. I ended up getting their mid range flash. HVL-F42AM | Flash for α (alpha) DSLR Cameras HVL-F42AM | Sony | SonyStyle USA You should look into the macro's, I got the 100mm macro and I need to play around with the Aperture more to get the shots crisp. I'll work on that tonight.. hmm wonder if there will be enough time at lunch.. lol

Right now I've only been playing with the Macro lens and as you can tell I still need to get the hang of it. But it was fun trying last night. :-) BTW off topic.. How are you feeling? Cain and I are doing to a dream cruise (big car show) on Saturday and I plan to bring the 50mm with me. So I'm sure I'll post more pictures this weekend.

OMG how can I work tomorrow knowing it will be a home calling my name.. lol
  9. So today I got a new Macro lens for my camera. OMG I'm going to have so much fun with this thing. Still have no clue how to use the thing, I need A LOT of practice. Here are just a couple shots I took, again please forgive the quality I need a huge learning curve.. :-) Pictures are me just messing around in front of my house the second I got home.. lol
  10. IMO if you wanted to test print a few picture, go to MPix and do "color correction" and see if that fixes the problem. Mpix has really good quality prints. I printed all my wedding pics from them. (or course I didn't color correct since my photographer did that for me) But with all that said, some photograhers don't include processing photos in their price, or they charge extra for it. So, maybe it would help to contact him first to see if it was included.
  11. Happy Birthday hope you have a wonderful day.
  12. Ahh Jessica, your not busy at all. just take everyone with you to find your letters and then stop off at McD's and your all set to go.. ROFL..
  13. LOL, Mel I do already have my F & G.. lol.. I told you I was on a misson, lol. However I do need to retake that Fence E picture, I didn't notice till now that it wasn't a crisp picture. I have a few more ideas for E too so I'll try to get more shots as well this week. BTW I can't see your pics of C & D, you should send them to me. :-)
  14. Here is my D & E for this week I have two E's to post this one is a little out of focus, i'll have to re-take it..
  15. **BUMP** Today is the last day to post your "B" & "C" photos.. Tomorrow we start "D" & "E".
  16. OK I suck, and finding a "B" was really hard, so I had to do a lower case "b". I'm still going to keep searching though, but here is my entry for this week.. "b" "C" I have two to post
  17. Hmmm, I know it is really busy there at their beach. I can't recall what time of day we where their when I did my site visit almost 2 years ago.
  18. Welcome to the forum Jen. We have a great group of people here that can help you with your location, photographer, cake., you name it. So just search around and ask questions.
  19. Ok so if we do two letters this week.. then were doing B&C but you have to post both, no skipping.. :-)
  20. The only down fall of a Mac is that I would have to purchase the software that I'm using for both my PC and then one for the Mac. That can get pretty $$
  21. So do I purchase the tool or does someone do it for me?
  22. OK what is a "monitor calibration tool" and what does it do? OK HP was on my short list, might now have to re-think that. I was also looking at Sony Viao's
  23. Good Job Jason, I wouldn't have thought about that one..
